If you streamed mlb.tv on your ps3 last year, I'd like to hear how it went.

Considering my options for baseball watching this year.

Buying the tv package is the easiest way, but I'm considering saving money by doing mlb.tv and streaming on the ps3.

It's great. I use it with a wireless connection that isn't very good. Minor lag sometimes right when the switch to a game, but that never lasts more than about 5 seconds. Picture quality is pretty good.

Can't recommend enough for a baseball fan with a PS3. Being a little more than half the price for regular Extra Innings is great.

How big of a TV? Does the HD translate well?

They break everything out seperately. Phone app is 15 for iOS/Android. In order to stream every game to your phone you must buy the MLB package ($119 I think?).

How big of a TV? Does the HD translate well?

37" Vizio. The HD broadcasts were good, but not quite as good as a typical HD broadcast though. And some of the games aren't in HD.

In the past has there been a free preview at the season's start, similar to the tv package?

I use it on my PS3, streaming thru a Playon media server. Its worked very well for me, even on large screens. Their HD is pretty good- not great, but better than the standard.
