***MNF Bonanza***The New England Patriots(8-4) at the Buffalo Bills(7-4)*** (-3) O/U 39.5 Wind is Howling (2 Viewers)

I'd say my bigger concern is the "overblown" nature of the current winning streak, given key injuries impacting the wins over Cleveland and Tennessee.  NE might be proven to be a paper tiger tonight...we'll see.

I don't agree with that...they are beating up teams pretty good and the "breaks" they are getting are pretty commonplace this year...I don't see any teams in the AFC that really scares me right now...I'd say KC is still the favorite because of Mahomes but they don't look as good as years past...the Pats have two with Buffalo and one with a dangerous Indy team on the road...after those games we'll have a better idea of just how good they are...right now I could not be more pleased with how the season is going and they have as good a chance as any other team to win the AFC.

Manning Cast tonight

1st-David Letterman, I hope he doesn't just sit there smug and make silly smiles for the camera. I'm told he's an avid sports fan but I've never seen him utter a word of football knowledge.

2nd Aquib Talib and I always like this guy in interviews, he's pretty raw and will not sugarcoat whatever he is watching plus he played for Coach BB, this could be great going into Halftime, kinda wish he was coming on in the 3rd Q BUT....

3rd Joe Buck and I guess if the game is close he could mildly interesting in the 2nd Half but I'm guessing he mostly just kisses Peyton's you know what the whole time.
Letterman is a huge Colts and Peyton Manning fan. Peyton was on the final show of LateNight.

if we’re going to have to sit through hearing Buck, it defeats the purpose of this telecast. Yuck

Just saw a live look at the stadium on the field on NFL Network. Snowing hard but the snow is going left to right not straight down. Heavy winds and 28 degrees.

This is just terrible news... said the guy who is in the clubhouse, sitting on a lead, and playing against Josh Allen and Nick Folk. 🙂
This happened to me in 2007. I was going against Brady and Moss in a playoff game. The Pats were playing the jets who had a really good defense at the time and the wind was a huge factor. I won putting up a #### score and the guy who set the league record for points was out in the first round.

This seems very similar to the Ravens-Bills playoff game last year, but I think the wind is a little stronger today.  Maybe an extra 5 to 10 mph

Sweating out a meaningless game so loving the meteorological news.

I’m done & up by 41 or so, he’s got Mac and a Diggs. Liking my chances.

Don’t need it - won’t affect seeding - but since it’s a revenge game from an earlier loss, I really want that dub

My opponent has Harris and Knox, I am +40 and have either Buff or NE to insert at Def, I actually think Harris could rack up some points tonight, Know will be needed on the short passing game all night, 1-2 TDs in the Redzone if the opportunity is presented, lot of things could happen tonight.

I really think this has the potential to be a legendary weather game, especially with the stakes of the game and it being a MNF game. Gonna be all sorts of crazy impacts from the weather tonight. Like to the point there is talk that teams shouldn’t even attempt to catch punts.

It's not a bad idea to let the punts go, although depending on wind direction for the punter you could see a 50 yard roll down to the 1 yard line if you let one go.  If it's coming down near the side line maybe just try to direct it out of bounds in case you can't get a good read on it.

The scores can't include a lot of successful FGs...

Buffalo scores 2 TDs, converts 1 of 2-2pt conversions and New England scores twice and cannot convert either time for their 2 pt conversion

Final Score Buffalo 14...New England 12

A Buffalo loss could help Miami ultimately more so than New England who will still have 8 wins, Miami would be a Jets win and a Buffalo loss @TB with the Pats still and Miami could move into an almost even tie in terms of wins and both be at 7-7/7-6, anything possible from there so I'm not unbiased and shouldn't be taken too seriously tonight. I would probably bet the under if I were standing in the sports book in Vegas, seems like an easy fun gamble for 3 hours to see what happens tonight.

New England +3 and Under at 41, still like it at 39.5

Good luck tonight for anyone placing a wager

We don't seem to have the same kind of snow but I can't help myself

Snow Plow '82

25,761 people showed up

4 minutes in you can get to the juice of it and hear the announcers describe what happened.

The driver was on a work release program so the patriots were employing criminals a long time ago, he was a robber and he stole a victory for the patriots that day 😂

Underrated loss for the Bills possibly: AJ Klein was announced as inactive due to Covid today. Now, normally this wouldn’t seem to matter as the Bills haven’t used more than 2 LBers in a single play since Week 6 (and played like 3 snaps Weeks 1-6), but just now it was reported that Tyrell Dodson was out there in warmups in some looks indicating the Bills may want to go 3 LBers some tonight to counter NE’s use of a FB and their strong run game. Problem for Buffalo is that Klein is a much better linebacker than young Dodson.

Bills will likely use Hyde and Breida on kicks. I bet with mostly the intent to guard against exactly what you’re saying. They won’t be charged with catching punts, but to stop the ball from rolling and rolling and rolling.

Playing the unders tonight.

Under 40 total points

Diggs under 60.5 red yards- between the wind and the hoodie I'm betting against Diggs

Diggs longest reception under 22.5

+ 800 for no field goals made

Bills won the toss and deferred. Analytics say that’s the right move, but with how different Buffalo has played when they have an early lead versus being behind early, I kinda wish they elected to take the opening kickoff to try for that early lead.

The dropsies have been back for Knox. Oof. Fine pass for Allen and it should have been a first down. Just can’t do that Knox.

The Bills need to get Allen on the move on almost all pass plays. Give him the option to run for even a few yards if there isn't an easy pass open.

Nice in theory and I agree it seems like a good idea, but they basically never do it, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Wow. That was just a wall it hit.

The low line drive is the only option going into the wind.
