***MNF Bonanza***The New England Patriots(8-4) at the Buffalo Bills(7-4)*** (-3) O/U 39.5 Wind is Howling (4 Viewers)

I've seen plenty of bad calls especially on taunting this year. Sometimes my team benefits, sometimes they get hurt.  This isn't even that egregious compared to other horrific calls this year

I just hope this isn't the new normal. I don't see how i could bet money on the outcome of these games when the refs do stuff like that every game.

Fire Goodell and spend his salary on full time refs.  Wa la problem solved

At some point Buffalo has to run blitz hard and dare Mac Jones to pass into the wind.

EDIT: Even if the Bills are worried about the surprise pass, Mac has barely thrown all night and he's going to execute a perfect pass play into the wind?

I think he was short but dumb challenge because there is absolutely no way you can see the ball and the Bills have to know that.

Good luck with the challenge. You can’t even see Mac Jones in the scrum, let alone tell where the ball ends up.

They called it a first down on the field.  Cant see it.  You must keep the call on the field

Or so they tell us

NFL tried to get fulltime refs.  We had the ref lockout, fans forgot how bad the regular refs were and whined endlessly, forcing the NFL to cave and give us decades more of this garbage.

NFL is over a barrel here.  The fans already made sure of that.

It was the Green Bay/Seattle Golden Tate catch that sealed that deal. I still regret that happened.

What is the rule for out of bounds?  I believe the ball is spotted where it crosses into the plane of out of bounds, not wherever it is when you land out of bounds.  That's why in the endzone you have to hit the pylon or get the ball inside it, right?
I think you’re right, but I also thought he had it extended passed the marker before going out.

But at the same time, it would appear that the ruling was correct as the defense is required to know where the boundary line is not contact the opponent beyond the boundary line.

This is really a rushing clinic that NE is putting on. I knew they had this in them. I'm just surprised they're doing it up until the fourth.

A lot of Bills defenders have got to feel like they’ve run into a power saw tonight. I’ve never seen a team run this successfully against 9 and 10 in the box in an NFL game.

This is really wild.  Never seen anything like this.
Unfortunately, Bills fans have seen this play out too many times. Last year’s regular season game against KC, every game against the Titans, just a few weeks ago against the Colts. Ed Oliver is undersized at DT and gets washed out in the run game and their linebackers don’t have enough fire to win at the point of attack.

Maybe 5 or 6 dlinemen?
I think part of the issue for the Bills is they have so many people right on the line that one missed tackle means a breakthrough for a first down. There is no second level there to help out. Might be better to hold back the backers some and limit things to a yard or two instead of trying to tackle for losses each play.

Patriots are breaking the spirit of the Bills right here for all the world to see.

This is damn impressive.

But you’ve already won this week, right?
Nope. And I had no reasonable shot. The other guy started some linebackers that scored 30 points apiece. I'm probably going to go 9-2 all-play as it stands, though. It sure would be nice to pick up some extra points for total points for, but that seems like spitting in the wind.
