They panicked.Really weird move to not spike the ball there. Don’t get that at all.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Only guy who's kept me in the playoff chase all season.Conner hurt there at the end.
It enough likes for me to give to this postGreat game and Great job Rams
Which is literally why you spike the ball. But yes I agree, panicked, terrible in game awareness to not realize you can pause and regroup. They panicked.
Rams 30...Cards 23KK and the Cards take a gentle step back which is actually good for them to reset for their Kessel Run the rest of the way
LA Rams 27...AZ Cards 21

He made a few head scratching throws and decisions tonight.I like Murray, but that was one of the dumbest plays I've ever seen.

Rams win outright, easy to take the points tonight
Mission accomplished. Boosted to #1 seed in league 1 and he scored enough to win me the tiebreaker for the last playoff seed in league 2.In both leagues where I have Kupp, I need him to have a big game despite my games already being decided.
League 1: Won and clinched a bye, but we also pay top 3 in total points and all play, and I am in the mix there.
League 2: Lost because my opponent put up 225 — I would need about 70 from Kupp to win, which won’t happen — and the playoff spots are likely to come down to total points and victory points tiebreakers. I need every point I can get.
Sony 71 yds on the ground, nothing receiving, not really nailing down the RB1 spot right now
The Rams finding balance in their offense is great news for them in the playoffs.
They need to protect Stafford a little better, he took a lot of hits (and a facemask the zebras didn't call) last night. Their back end sched favors them a bit for playoff seeding, SFO I think they can beat because Stafford with the Rams have already played against them, and they will be at home.
The SF loss was the best thing that could have happened to them.
Remember when fat Matt was made of glass? Since the end of 2010, he’s never missed a game except for the year he broke his back (2019.)They need to protect Stafford a little better, he took a lot of hits (and a facemask the zebras didn't call) last night. Everyone always brings up the CLE game his rookie year to illustrate how tough he is (dislocated his non-throwing shoulder on last play of the game, went back out and threw the 2 pointer to win - dislocated it again.
He plays through injuries better than anyone I know. I remember at the end of 2020 and he listed his injuries for the year. There were like 8 or 9, broken digits, chipped vertebrae, strains, serious bruises. It was hilarious.
Probably the best in the league at delivering a strike 3 nanoseconds before he gets blasted. He had a lot of practice at that his first 12 years.
Yeah I used Stafford as an example in the Jimmy Fapropollo thread where he averaged over 4000 yards per season between 2011-2018 while playing throughout entire season consecutively while in Detroit. He's tough, but he ain't getting any younger, but give him a full 16 games, and you will get 4500 yards passing out of him.
Don’t mean a thing, gotta get that ring.
You’re right, it’s not the extreme. But zero division titles, zero playoff wins, always ranked around 8th-12th best at your position….does that sound like a gold jacket.I dunno about rings so much, Marino never got one, Jim Kelley had four tries at one, Bart Starr got one posting lulzy numbers, Terry Bradshaw got four because he played for the Steelers, Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson won one, and Peyton Manning won one posting one of the worst regular seasons ever by a quarterback. There are many HOF players that don't have one like Larry Fitzgerald and Charles Barkley, and not having one should not diminish their careers. It didn't enhance Trent Dilfer's who got traded right after, but it did to Larry Brown's bank account, only because Al Davis was alive.

The LAR portion of his career will be the part that makes the biggest impression on how people view him.
As a quarterback.
As a human…don’t get me started. As a husband, as a dad, as a friend, as a community leader - dude crushes it.
The latter is why Michigan loves him so much, and why virtually all Lion fans want him to thrive
Megatron, and for a shorter time, Billy Sims.Barry Sanders has never won a championship in Detroit. One can say both Sanders and Stafford gave reason for people to watch the Lions. But I can't blame either for why they are the Lions lol.

Most Michiganders are sensible enough to not care one way or another wrt the Lions. They’ve always had the Spartans or Wolverines for their football fix. Most.who are Lions fans are often either cynical (SOL or same ole Lions) and/or at some level, a bit self-loathing.
I sometimes find it difficult to relate. It’s not that I think the piss poor attitude isn’t warranted. The franchise is awful, one of the worst of any sport in North America. But it’s anathema for me to approach anything in that way.
I’m still (very) critical of the team when it’s warranted, which is often. But I’m basically an optimistic version of Charlie Brown. I not only fall due the same thing over and over, I genuinely, sincerely and passionately believe this time will be different. I’m not sure the exact term fir it but I am very much like Brooklyn Dodgers fans of the 1940s and 50s. Their perennial slogan was “wait until next year!”
