I really don't see the argument at the end. You keep playing till it's done. They scored a TD with 3:49 left. Kick an onsides kick, get it. Score another TD with 1:58 left. Stop balt and use their 3 TOs to get the ball back with 1:34 down 10.

Should Bowles have just said "you know what, that's enough. We don't need to come back anymore."

Fans would be tearing him apart for that if he did. The Godwin injury was a freak accident. It's football. Bowles isn't going to put his 3rd string out there when he's still trying to make a comeback.
