Taking some folks money it would appear.

It's clear that the Steelers are going to get worse before they get better when you look at their cap situation. The Steelers are going to look radically different next year and really be almost completely turn over the team by 2015. They need to eat the bad contracts and get all the poison of those cap hits out of the way and try to trades assets for draft picks. Based on their management history I can totally see them managing this and being back in business and reloaded for 2016. Real talk here - they have had a hell of a run with this group but those cap hits for next year - rough stuff.

I think the Steelers are one of the few organizations sharp enough to keep their head coach through a complete rebuild - I can see Tomlin still being there on the other side of this rough stretch.

My point is that the Steelers kept Cowher even after they had some seasons where most teamd would have fired the coach. It wouldn't surprise me if they did the same with Tomlin.
