The line has varied betwen 4.5 and 5. I'm taking the Titans +5 for sure and, frankly, I think they win the game. Homer, yes, but I think they win.

Saints haven't been able to get the run game going and their defense is just bad.

I can see the Titan offensive line opening holes ala at Jax and Brown abusing the poor NO linebackers and having a big game. IF VY is to ever put up some passing numbers, this could be the game.

I think NO has to score more than 27 points to win the game.

I say:

-- Titans win 27-20

-- VY has 240 passing and 60 on the ground with 1 running and 1 passing TD

-- White, 13 for 52

-- Brown, 19 for 131

-- Bush has a decent game with 70 rushing and 70 receiving and a TD

-- I don't see Deuce having much at all.

-- Brees will have a decent game, 250 or so yards.

-- Titans defense and running game controls tempo

Well, that's what I think, anyway. Post your thoughts and let's see who gets the Karnak award.

This is about as "must win" as it gets for the Saints, and they'll be a lot more comfortable at home with that incredible crowd behind them.

I'm laying off this game from a betting perspective though. Vince Young just strikes me as the type of player that raises his game when the stakes are higher.

Just studied the Saints' defensive stats. They don't look as bad as the team has been. Most of it boils down to the fact that they've just given up a lot of big plays. Not a lot of sustained drives, just a bunch of big plays.

Offense's problems center around getting nothing done on the ground. What is the problem here? Is the o-line just playing that badly? Turnover from last year?

I think VY has to pass for at least 200 tonight for the Titans to win.

Currently 16 for the Saints to win, 15 for the Titans.

Most appear the think the VY does have a big game of 225+ passing and 60 yards rushing.

Interestingly, most (2-1) feel the key for the Saints' running game is Deuce, not Bush.

Titans 22 votes to win, Saints have 21.

Although, Vince has like 35 votes to have a great game. If VY has a great game, Titans win. Also, the votes have NO out rushing the Titans. I just don't see that happening. I think the only way the Saints win is that Brees has a big game.

Im taking the Titans to Win

Vince plays well, nothing special

N.O. looks better, but again wont scare anyone with that O

Bo scaife catches 1 pass for 5 yards and I win this week

Real hip no doubt! hahaha

Well, I see the Titan's winning by 11 or more, the Titans running for 200+, the Titans sacking Brees 5+ times, the Titans running for over 200 yards. All Titans here folks.... I can't help it. I am a homer for sure. But, the Saints have looked real bad, and I don't buy the "they need a win real bad". I needed a win real bad this week and I didn't get it. Fisher is 3 times the coach that the Saints guy is...(what his name?)

Saints stink and they will get whooped horribly tonight. Can't wai tto see the dejected faces of the home crowd fans.

That's the way it was last year, and the way it's been so far this year. Deuce has averaged right at 4 ypc in the two losses, while Bush has been abysmal. And per your earlier post, in fairness to the Saints' running game, they've been behind six of the eight quarters they've played this year. When Deuce especially has gotten his carries, he's looked very solid. And this might have been done to death in another thread, but could some of the struggles be attributed to Jamaal Brown not being 100%? He was hurt in the preseason, and then Freeney made him look like a turnstile in the opener.

The Saints play(ed) against Vick twice a year, so they have schemes to defense a running QB. Granted, the secondary has looked dreadful so far, but Young is the worst passer they've faced. If they can contain the run, which I think they can, then I like their chances.

As for the game, I expect the Saints to play better for the home crowd, but Vince plays big and Titans ground game rolls. A critical special teams play leads to a Titans win 27-24.
