Now those hamsters are moving.

ETA- Landry to the Deadskins has been popular over the last 24 hours or so but I think a trade may happen here also if that is indeed BPA.

Landry is a player good enough that they could try him at corner if needed I suppose and he is more physical than Taylor. However it seems a bit overkill at the position with other needs to be considered.

No slight to Taylor intended. But Landry hits like a load of bricks. Maybe I am splitting hairs here...I think Landry projects more naturaly to SS than Taylor does although they are both interchangable in either safety role.ETA- Landry has drawn comparisons to Rod Woodson. I wonder if he can live up to it.

I think Cle will take Quinn over JaMarcus if the Raiders take Calvin. Question will then be whether the Raiders will trade CJ for Russell. My gut says Quinn has surged ahead of Russell on a lot of boards at the eleventh hour. Kiffin wants Quinn and they may just take him #1 to be safe depending on how bad they really want him.

Someone will reach for Okoye in the top ten.

Someone will "reach" for Joe Staley a lot earlier than people think, but it won't turn out to be a reach at all once the guy hits the field.

Staleyt to NYG at 20 is about as low as i see him.

Some team is going to be very happy to draft Justin Blalock in the 1st round. I am pretty sure of this. Not sure which team it will be but he is going to be drafted in the 1st round.

Now you're just teasing me.

Do you really think ATL will take Meachem in the top ten, when they can get a comparable WR in Rd 2 (Bowe/Rice/Jarrett/Hill). Seems like at least one of those four will be there.

Seems to me that after CJ, there are a lot of very good and very similar WRs in this draft. This would make me think that teams picking in the top half of round 1 (other than the CJ suitor of course) will likely wait until Rd 2 to take what's left over at WR to try to maximize value.

I think it breaks down as follows:CJ....MeachemBowe..Ginn.........JarrettRiceEtc.

Marcus mcneil 2.0
While I agree he is a similar prospect to McNeil in terms of the impact he could have on the team who drafts him I don't think he is going to fall in the draft. The cats out of the bag. NFL.com did an article on him just yesterday as a lead up story to the draft. Some team is going to draft him in the 1st I don't think he is falling to the 2nd. He does not have the injury or any questions about his game really that will cause teams to pass like they did with McNeil. The worst thing I have heard about him is he doesen't get to the second level enough when run blocking. My thoughts on that are does it matter if he is crushing the defender he is assigned to?He may not be a LT prospect but he has played tackle for most of his career so I think that remains to be seen. The guy seems to have plenty of agility and he is one of the smartest players in the draft period.

I forgot about Ginn. I guess I like Rice and Hill a lot more than you do.

I like Rice for a team w/ the luxurry of taking a chance. I happen to think CJ and Meachem are uber-polished to plaay riht away. Bowe slightly behind them. After that,it's a crap shoot.

There is NO WAY the Falcons take Meachem @ #8. I would bet my house payment on it and that's about as sure as it gets! There are at least 10 better options for them on the board at that point than Meachem.

I firmly believe that Harrell is the best DT available. IMO, its not even close.
You and I are in agreement here. Even when injured, he was super-disruptive. I like his heart as well.

So Minny going to give up Gaines Adams and a boatload of picks to Detroit for AD.
