I thought I'd do a mock where things went right for my team for once. Detroit fans should like this mock too.

Yeah I know it's wish-full thinking, but a guy can dream right.

1)Oakland - JaMarcus Russell – After not being able to trade Moss, they take a QB here.

2)Minnesota – Brady Quinn – Minnesota trades #7 and #41 this year and #1 next year.

3)Atlanta – Calvin Johnson – Atlanta Trades #8, #39, and #44 to Cleveland

4)Tampa – Jamaal Anderson – They try to trade down, but don't get any bites

5)Arizona – Joe Thomas – A huge sigh of relief for the Cards that he's still there.

6)Washington – Gaines Adams - They need a DE.

7)Detroit – Darrelle Revis – They wanted a DE, but Carriker here would be a reach

8)Buffalo - Adrian Peterson – Buffalo Trades #12 and #74 to get the best RB

9)Miami – Levi Brown – They were targeting him to be here.

10) Houston – Marshawn Lynch – Fat Boy insurance.

11) San Francisco – Alan Branch – They need a NT in the worst way.

12) Cleveland - Adam Carriker – Will be an immediate starter.

13) St. Louis - Amobi Okoye – A steal here.

14) Carolina - LaRon Landry – Definite needs at safety.

15) Pittsburgh - Leonard Hall – They fill a need here.

16) Green Bay – Greg Olsen – Bubba Franks is done. This pick adds some punch to the offense.

17) Jacksonville - Paul Posluszny – Putting this guy behind 2 good DT's just makes sense.

18) Cincinnati - Lawrence Timmons – The 2 best OLB's go back-to-back.

19) Tennessee – Ted Ginn Jr. - A deep threat for Young.

20) N. Y. Giants – Aaron Ross – They really need a corner.

21) Denver - Charles Johnson – A DL that is not an old Brown.

22) Dallas - Chris Houston – They took care of OL in Free Agency.

23) Kansas City – Robert Meachum – They finally have a legit #1 WR.

24) New England – Reggie Nelson – Lot's of ways they can go, but I'm thinking safety.

25) N.Y. Jets – Justin Harrell – A good addition to line up next to Robertson.

26) Philadelphia – Dwayne Jarrett – They're glad he fell here.

27) New Orleans – Raymond McDonald – any CB taken here would be a reach, so they go DT.

28) New England - Jarvis Moss – He'll play OLB.

29) Baltimore – Joseph Staley – Replaces a departed FA.

30) San Diego - Sidney Rice - They want a safety, there isn't one here. They take a WR.

31) Chicago - Jon Beason – Say hello to the next great Chicago LB.

32) Indianapolis - Zachary Bowman – No DT's or LB's here so they take a CB.

33)Oakland – Ryan Harris – They need a tackle.

34)Detriot – Drew Stanton – Home town guy.

35)Tampa Bay – Ryan Kalil – Good value here.

36)Cleveland – Ben Grubbs – OL is starting to look really good.

37)Chicago – Justin Blalock – Line is getting old. Would be good depth at T and G.

38)Arizona – Arron Sears – Yep they really do need to spend their top 2 picks on lineman.

39)Cleveland – Marcus McCauley – Should be able to start and moves Holly to Nickel.

40)Miami – Jonathon Wade – Should start as well.

41)Detroit – Quentin Moses – They are glad to see him here after taking Stanton

42)San Francisco – Buster Davis – They could use a MLB to put behind Branch.

43)Buffalo – Tanard Jackson – Replaces Nate Clements

44)Cleveland – Antonio Pittman – They needed a RB and took the OSU kid.

45)Carolina – Brandon Siler – They could use another MLB.

46)Pittsburgh – Anthony Spencer – Since it looks like they're keeping the 3-4, he could replace Porter.

47)Green Bay – Lorenzo Booker – Will compete with Morency.

48)Jacksonville – Michael Griffin - Replaces Grant.

49)Cincinnati – Marcus Thomas – Will compete at DT.

50)Tennessee - Victor Abiamiri – They could use a pass rusher.

51)N.Y. Giants – Tony Hunt – Tiki who?

52)St. Louis – Rufus Alexander – Better than their starters.

53)Dallas – Craig Davis – WR's are getting old.

54)Kansas City – Tony Ugoh – LJ is begging for a Tackle.

55)Seattle – Manuel Ramirez – They still miss Hutchinson.

56)Denver – Anthony Gonzalez – Rod Smith is 37.

57)Philadelphia – Aaron Rouse – They could use a SS.

58)New Orleans – Terrell Brown- They get the corner they couldn't get in the first.

59)N.Y. Jets – Kenneth Irons – He'll join the RB competition.

60)Miami – Trent Edwards – Back-up for Carr or Green?

61)Baltimore – Doug Free – yep a second T in case Ogden retires.

62)San Diego – Brandon Meriweather – They get the safety they wanted.

63)N.Y. Jets – C.J. Gaddis – Justin Miller is more of a return guy.

64)Tampa Bay – DeMarcus Tyler – Tampa's line gets young real quick.

Cleveland would still have 2 3rd rounders and one of those should be a NT.

You know, I think I missed him. He should have been a mid first rounder. I must have crossed him off the list without assigning a team.

I like the idea a LOT, but I'd almost rather see them sit at pick 8 and take Levi Brown.

Brown Steinback Fraley? Grubbs Shaffer

That would be the best OL they've assembled in quite some time. Throw in the outside potential for Bentley to come back in 2008 and that looks awesome!!!

Atlanta taking Calvin Johnson would crush most FF owners. Atlanta is almost as bad as Detroit when it comes to the WR wasteland, although I guess it is better than Oakland.

My view is that you win football games by controlling the line of scrimmage. That means you just keep using top picks on the lines until you get to that point. Even in this scenario, if these guys bust, you just keep taking more. The WRs, RBs, QBs, etc, use free agency there. But top priority is the LOS.
