Looks to me that they both went off simultaneously, the male just got the worst of it, clearly.  Bigger, landed harder and went way further down the hill.  Not sure where you see her doing the "dragging off cliff".  Looks to me like he was the one that made that last pull, rip, whatever you want to call it that flung them both off the edge.  She certainly took him with her though, which paid off.  He kept going down and ended up dazed and confused.

Why would they cut the video after that, there had to be more to see.

According to the video, the male died from the fall. I don't think there was more to see other than the female eventually getting up and climbing back.

Oh wow, didn't know that, had it on mute.  Why didn't they show more?  He got up, looked like he was gonna shake it off.  Poor fella.
