**Monday Night Football - Buccaneers at Lions**(-6, 52.5) 7:00 (1 Viewer)

Early Monday Nighter could be the game of the week
I'll call it a fantasy gold game for sure
Lions defense in question
Can't underestimate the power of The Baker right now
Should see plenty of scoring
I'll say last team with possesion wins...

Tampa Bay- 37

Detroit- 34

Cross-posted from the Lions thread:

The Lions will have their hands full with all 4 starters in the secondary out. Amik Robertson is a quality CB but Rock Ya-Sin is below average. Who knows who the nickel corner will be (maybe Kendall Fuller?). Thomas Harper is starting at one safety but who knows who the other safety will be. No matter who it is, they haven't played together so there will be plays when miscommunication causes someone to be out of position. Fortunately for the Lions, the Bucs are banged up at WR.

The front 7 needs to play great tonight. The Lions are in the top 5 in QB pressures and 6th in sacks and they should get a boost getting Alim McNeill back. Mike Evans will probably play and he is a load. Emeka Egbuka will be a game time decision but if he plays he won't be anywhere close to 100%. My gut says he will not play.

Getting Taylor Decker back is huge. The Lions had to give some help to Skipper and Manu and they won't have to with Decker.

The Lions have one of the best homefield advantages in the NFL and they need to take advantage of it. If they make mistakes like they did against the Chiefs they won't have a chance but if they limit the mistakes I think the Lions will win in a high scoring game.

I think this game might be a little lower scoring than people are expecting. I'm not of the belief Egbuka actually plays (do like his chances for NO next week though) and I think the Lions control the pace of this game. I think despite TB's good run defense, that this is a Gibbs and especially Monty game. I believe Dan Campbell when he says that they have gotten away from Monty too much, and he's their tone setter. I also think Amon-Ra will make a lot of 3rd down catches to keep drives going. I expect the Lions to have a large time of possession edge.

The Lions are down some guys in the secondary, but they are getting Alim McNeil back on the DL. That's big, and I expect TB to have a lot of trouble in the run game. White has volume on his side, but he's a potential bust this week if he doesn't get a TD. Aidan Hutchinson vs Charlie Heck is about as big as mismatches get in the NFL, so I expect Mayfield to be on the move a lot in this one. I think Baker bakes a bit, but maybe not as much as the Lions secondary says he should.

I like the Lions to cover.

Popular sentiment is to take the 6 points, it does seem like a game that should be close.
I’m a homer but don’t get the 6 point spread. The Lions secondary is all out and we’ve established the Bucs can sling it. The Bucs have injuries too so they’ll give up some points but that seems high to me. But, I’m a homer and am probably overlooking something. Now that I wrote this they’ll probably lose by 17.

I have 1 WR spot open and deciding between Egbuka, Evans and Jamo. I have a pretty sizable lead so I think I'm going to go with Evans just to keep my rooting interest pure and easy.

I need like 400+/5 from Baker, and 12/200/4 for ARSB. If Monty could score twice and Jamo could get 150/2 also that would be a big help.

Maybe get within 15 yards of Amon-Ra in coverage? He's not JaMo, you don't need to play 15 yards off him.

ETA: Not complaining, I have Amon-Ra shares, but it shouldn't be THAT easy.

Bucs are gonna get rolled tonight, the Lions are just a different team at home
Bucs have been getting a little lucky in 1 score games
Saints next week and then a Bye

Any Bucsfan would have signed up fro a possible 6-2 start
PLease no new injuries on offense tonight for the Bucs, please!

Tampa Bay recovers a fumble, strip sack
Go Bucs Go!
Back to back posts.

Hoping Goff doesn't feel the need to "spread it around" with St. Brown getting this open. Needs to take page out of the Joe Flacco book from Thursday Night and give ARSB a 20 target game.

This gameplan is mystifying. Lions secondary is down to entirely 2nd and 3rd stringers so why are the Bucs playing so close to the LOS?
