Monday Night Football Game Thread (1 Viewer)

gruden is high.

he'll say three things, but the third will have nothing to do with the first because he's just wandering all over the place and riffing off the latest thing he said. then he'll repeat his first sentence and say 'jaws?'

Bradford is mediocre at best
This is only his 18th NFL game after missing his final year of college. Plus, his WR's wouldn't make most NFL teams.
and he is still mediocre. The guy was really hyped up, I just don't see it
Depends on what you're looking for. He's not on a Peyton Manning career path...but he's certainly on a Matt Hasslebeck path. Kid's gonna have a long productive career.
lets wait until this guy has another season or two under his belt before we determine if hes a bust. At least wait until he gets some wrs that can occasionally beat man coverage.
The story of our lives... :( Signed,

A 9er fan

Crazy that Jacobs is about to surpassed Hampton and is about to pass Tiki. The guy has only 1 season with over 200 carries I believe, and is still in his late 20s

At least this year Bradford has an OC who is letting him throw the ball vertical

Last year it was all catch and run (that's why Amendola averaged like 7.5 YPC)

Bradford's likely to have 400 yards before this game is over. The passing yards this season are incredible! What is going on?

Couglin is damn good at thatwins a ton of challenges
I don't think it should be hard to win challenges. I'm always amazed by the number of foolish challenges teams make. If I were an NFL team, I would hire an assistant whose sole job was to sit in athe booth and review every play right after it happened, and then tell the coach if there should be a challenge. That should prevent useless challenges that you're bound to lose.

I guess McDaniels doesn't have any screen plays in the play book.

And how the hell does he roll Bradford right into the rush TWICE in one series?

Pretty sure they do this and teams still get it wrong. Is it legal to throw the challenge flag then change your mind? Seems like the :shark: move is to toss the flag on a controversial play to stop the action, then give yourself time to look at replays. If you don't like what you see, you rescind your challenge.

one thing seems clear - the Lance Kendricks hype train is officially derailed. I don't beleive he's been targeted since his one first qtr reception. I see no reason to keep him rostered in standard 12 team redraft leagues unless.

how did manningham get a concussion?

wonder if he will play next week? interesting to see if someone steps up

After 1 game and 3 quarters? Sure makes sense. I wish I had him rostered.

Eli started tonight 2/11 (several drops and many bad throws)

now 16/26

yeah, 14 of his last 15

of course there's an incomplete as I type it

Mario Manningham left Monday's Week 2 game against the Rams late in the second quarter with a concussion. He's out for the game, finishing with three catches for 56 yards on seven targets. Manningham hit his head on the turf after making a 31-yard grab right before halftime, and wasn't on the field for the Giants' first series in the third quarter. Word then came down that he suffered a concussion, making him the second Giants receiver (Domenik Hixon) lost for the game in a span of five minutes. Super Mario's Week 3 is in doubt.

Is Danario the guy now? Tonight? I thought the knees were all but done.
looks to me like MSW is the WR1. A ton of targets.
Really, it looks like they spread it around quite well: 39 pass attemptsMSW 10 targetsGibson 8 targetsAlexander 7 targetsSalas 5 targets
I'll take a guy as my WR4 who is getting 10 targets a game. Didn't mean to suggest that others weren't getting targets too. MSW is also the guy in on the power 3 TE sets too.I think he will end up being the guy to have.

Weird that both Manningham and Hixon hurt themselves because they had to contort themselves turning a routine catch into a circus catch.
