**Monday Night Football - Lions at Ravens**(-5, 54) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

Good broadcasting there, talking about the struggling Andrews still contributing with great blocking and then he makes a great block on the Henry TD run
I poke fun at Aikman and I think Buck is the snoozer for a play by play, that said Aikman can really nail the analysis on occasion, he played at the highest level
I don't think FF folks wanted to hear about Andrews ability to block however

Little wheel route or fly pattern by #43- Hill?
That's the best option over say Flowers or Andrews or Hopkins or someone else?

Detroit starting in their own end zone?

Not a bad job by rookie Starks in coverage but what LaPorta and Goff just did is elite NFL offense. Tough tough play for a Safety

Get your Troy Aikman beers lined up, every time tonight he says "I just love what the Detroit Lions are doing on Offense" or "I really like what the Ravens have put together"
Or any 1 off from this, you know it's just wind dip and air pudding, he does this several times typically each broadcast he's in the booth
I like to call them AIkman-isms and they come in different forms, but for this one it's going ot be down the hatch with those beers at home

-He likes to encourage punting the football when teams are about to cross midfield especially if they started deep in their own territory
Troy Aikman loves him a good Field Goal attempt, especially on 3rd and long around the 35-40 yard line, it's total taboo to even suggest making the first down on a long throw
No reason to risk a turnover there. I'm not saying he's wrong, it's just you can see it coming a mile away.

-He's very slow to say one team is whooping up on the other team, just not in his make up
Another one is when he praises a team for doing something good or what he perceives is them being consistent and then they suddenly give the ball away be it an interception/fumble

-He will undoubtedly say he talked to the coaching staff prior to the game this week and they told him whatever it is he's emphasizing on the replay, he spoke to both QBs too

Look for the sign or if you hear it first

Right on cue, Troy starts praising the Lions for moving the ball from inside their own 5 yd line, this drive is already a success
Troy would be very happy with a punt here soon

It is still fun to watch a Defense that likes to hit

But Ravens aren’t good enough to cover without any pass rush

Montgomery looks so good again this year. Man thought he was washed when he left Chicago. He’s still a beast years later.

That long Ali kickoff return kept the Ravens from being able to run out the entire first half clock while scoring

Now Lions get another possession before Ravens receive second half kickoff

Whoa! A long kickoff return! Let's go to the sideline reporter
It is Lisa Rutledge, would be better if we had a live shot vs just a voice telling us nothing
She was embellishing about the Lions long drive and the OL being out of breath and saying it was the longest drive ever...she was trying to seize on the moment
And when you try you fail, Yoda said so

Surprising the Ravens don't run more read option with Henry. Tannehill scored on those all the time, and he's like 25% the runner Lamar is.

I was hoping they would do a fake to Henry and Lamar would roll out on 3rd down around end for the TD JFC
