**Monday Night Football - Texans at Seahawks**(-3.5, 41) 10:00pm (1 Viewer)

Underrated, but DeMeco is starting to build a really bad pattern of undisciplined teams for those of you who rarely watch the Texans.

Lots of dumb penalties on both sides, but he’s a “player’s coach.” It’s definitely a problem when things aren’t going really well.

Seems to be his trademark, his teams play hard but are dumb as a bag of rocks with dumb plays and penalties
They have a pedestrian offense and end up beating themselves due to their lack of discipline

I've watched this Al-Shazir hit on Darnold a few times now, went back to see how bad it really was
Darnold is in bounds and I don't have a problem with the initial hit but then you get the full drive into the ground on his back
I think that's not allowed even if you sack the QB in the pocket but does that carry over past the LOS?
If you slow it down, Darnold is still hopping and going out of bounds when the rest of the hit takes place

Maybe Darnold should slide or not take on a defender in bounds like that to start
Defender went a little too far, because it's a starting QB we hate it but if it were a Tight End, I doubt folks would think it was as egregious

I had to turn this off and watch the end of the Jays v. Mariners. This Texans team is making me cringe too much. All that time off and this is how you show up? And so much for the elite Defense. That D is mid at best 🙈

If Cal Raleigh doesn’t come up here in the 9th with a man on down by 1 in game 7

It wasn't that hard a tackle, but he has to know he's out of bounds at that point. And like you said, it's a QB so they are definitely going to flag that.

It would have been a flag for roughing in bounds. He pile-drove him well past the stripe onto the sideline.

He’ll get a fine. Maybe a suspension.
I see what you're saying
Hasn't this DB/LB whatever done this before?
I feel like this is not his 1st time
He was ejected I assume

He’s the one who TKO’d TLaw after the whistle and missed the last 1/4 of the season last year yes. Wouldn’t be shocked by 1-3 games.

He wasn’t ejected. He was likely warned.

I imagine everyone not on the West Coast changed the channel after that 2nd TD :suds:

That Springer HR was sweet. Good seeing someone from Houston produce when the lights are brightest.
