How many years before the RB position no longer exists. For speed put a WR in the backfield. For power runs put a TE in the backfield. No reason you can't call some of these scat backs WRs. Then add 1 TE and 3 WRs to the roster. Or beef up other places.

He had DJ coming open on an out vs zone but didn't pull the trigger.

That's what passing with anticipation means.

They don't So 1 designated RB if you have Derrick Henry. Which maybe 3 teams do. 25 teams in the NFL are RBBC. And most of the WRs in the NFL played RB or QB at the youth level and likely some in HS They were always the most athletic person on the team. They didn't that guy out wide with a 12 year old playing QB that couldn't throw the ball 15 yards. I rather have 8 WRs on my team than 6, and slide the Debo, Hester, etc, etc of the world into the backfield through movement. It's coming. 5-10 years.

Strong disagree. Rodgers would have been a step in the wrong direction. Would have rather kept Darnold than gone after Rodgers. Its a slow start, but I think JJ was the right call. Let's keep in mind Jefferson missed all of camp, and Thielen got there like a week ago.
