More Definitive Updates on Rudi Johnson? (1 Viewer)

FWIW it's from CBS Sportsline:

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis told The Cincinnati Enquirer that RB Rudi Johnson (hamstring) will play Week 6 at Kansas City. Johnson missed the Bengals' last game Oct. 1 because of the injury, but he practiced Friday without incident. The Bengals officially list him as probable. (Updated 10/13/2007). FANTASY ANALYSIS Lewis also said that Kenny Watson, who replaced Johnson Oct. 1, would also play, perhaps hinting that the two would split carries. Still, Johnson's Fantasy owners should insert him back into their lineups and consider him a No. 1 Fantasy RB against Kansas City's 24th-ranked run defense. Source: www.cbssports.com

I've read (sorry no links) but I believe it was on Roto earlier this week that Rudi will play but won't start. Ken Watson will get the majority of the carries but Rudi the goalline carries.

I've got a fantasy related question on this topic if you don't mind giving me a suggestion.

I hate this RBBC crap. I'm sure one of them will get 75% of the work and you have to think that will be Rudi if healthy.

I wouldn't be so sure. Kenny has run very well in limited action. It wouldn't surprise me that it could be a 50-50 carry situation or more for Kenny until Rudi is 100%. Another question is who really gets goallines.

I don't have any links or proof. I was just thinking about Watson's load pre Rudi injury. But I guess you could think about Rudi's load post Dillon injury. When Dillon came back, he and Rudi split time if I remember correctly. And Rudi didn't get any carries before Dillon went down.
