Maybe Stephen Hill is a way better route runner than any of us suspected? That statline is tempting for me since I'm thin at receiver, and while Ogletree seemed much improved, it's scary to need to rely on a teams #3 option I think. Stephen Hill is legitimately the #2 on that team right now, which is far more desirable. My knee-jerk reaction says Ogletree. I think he is a legit option for the Cowboys, much like Robinson ast season (not saying he duplicates that production, just that he is an option and the cowboys seemingly always have people missing games on offense).Hill, from what I saw yesterday was absolutely wide open. Maybe a Bills folower can elaborate but they seemed to be clueless in all three aspects of the game. It just seemed like one of those fluky days where you wake up and you see that, because of the matchups in one particular game, a guy like D. Henderson gets 160 yards and two busted play TDs and then is quite for the next month.
But what happens when Sanchez isn't playing Buffalo and goes back to his 175 yard and 1 TD stat line?Maybe Stephen Hill is a way better route runner than any of us suspected? There's NOTHING flukey about a guy that's 6'4, 215 that can run a 4.3. He was matched up with a rookie DB yesterday, but this kid has serious skills. He can separate, get deep, make catches over the middle and has an enormous catch radius which is helpful with Sanchez (see: Braylon and Plax). If he ever learns to catch with his hands and not be such a body catcher, he could be a great one.My knee-jerk reaction says Ogletree. If you are thin for your team then sure, why not role him out? Just try not to be biased based on desperation and the fact that you own him. I own both in different leagues and trying to be unbiased, my initial thought just says that Hill is still very raw and the Jets like him for his blocking every bit as much as a receiver and when I saw Hill catch balls yesterday, it had a lot less to do with route running than it did blown coverages. But in a week to week NEED to start a guy, sure, why not because with his size, he can at least be a red zone "jump ball threat" and maybe salvage your fantasy day. But overall, I wouldn't expect to hear Chris Collinsworth talking about how he is running precise routes any time soon.Maybe Stephen Hill is a way better route runner than any of us suspected? Similar argument can be made as to what happens when Dallas isn't playing against an injury riddled secondary with guys like me playing DB and a healthy Witten to compete for targets. Not to say Ogletree can't continue to have success, but the Cowboys found a weakness in the Giants DB inability to cover him on a slant and didn't/couldn't adjust to it.The success may continue, but I'll take a change on the guy who, IMO, has the better the skillset to succeed on his own over the guy who's success in week 1 seemed predicated on a game plan. Then again, relying on Sanchez or Tebow to get him the ball would be a scary prospect too...But what happens when Sanchez isn't playing Buffalo and goes back to his 175 yard and 1 TD stat line?Maybe Stephen Hill is a way better route runner than any of us suspected? You forgot to include your scoring system...Both Kevin Ogletree and Stephen Hill had terrific first games. If you had to bet on which one has the better fantasy season, who would it be and why?
To be fair though, when is the last time everyone was healthy in Dallas?I'd say Hill. Hill could realistically be the 2nd best WR on his team. When everyone is healthy in Dal Ogletree is lucky to be 3rd and is perhaps 4th best on his.
My thoughts too. I wish Hill only had 1 TD so as to possibly fly under the radar. But given that he got 2, he will be snatched up fast.Hill has more upside, I think, since he could pretty easily become the #1 WR/top receiving target in his offense. Ogletree is probably #4 when everyone is healthy.

Game to game consistency. He will go off like this week for 25+ pts and follow it up with an 8pt stinker. It's amazing how many people just blindly bash Sanchez like sheep. He was something like top 6 in total TD's by a QB last year, top 10 in passing TD's and a top 10 fantasy QB. I understand that he will probably never be elite, but he's certainly more than capable of supporting a WR like Hill with very productive fantasy numbers.
No. He saw the field because he is Garcon's backup. I don't expect garçon to miss time, although Robinson is a nice stash in dynasty (I've got a coupe deep leagues where I've got him rostered). They got a lot of targets relative to the other guys on their team.Sometimes Ogletree is going to appear to be the #2 guy for RomoSometimes Hill is going to appear to be the #1 guy for Sanchez or TebowEDGE: OgletreeThe guy I really want to add to the discussion about surprise WRs this week receiving the most targets from their QB--who gets a bump as well--is Aldrick Robinson. Sometimes Robinson could appear to be the #2 guy for RG3. Should we call that comparable yet?
Rex already said Tebow would be the starter if Sanchez went down. McElroy can't even get active on gameday.as for Hill vs Ogle, Hill is the possible 1 definate 2, Ogle is the 3 at best on that team. Hill is faster and taller. Hill all the way. and the mini megatron comment is not far off, Calvin was a GTech receiver and so was Demaryius Thomas. They both look more or less like Stephen Hill.Sanchez is far from great but Tebow wont play. We would probably see McElroy play in the event of a Sanchez injury.
FIXED. Santonio Holmes is nothing but a brain dead Jets spokesperson at this pointI'd say Hill. Hill could realistically be the 2nd 1st best WR on his team. When everyone is healthy in Dal Ogletree is lucky to be 3rd and is perhaps 4th best on his.
