Not WW3 and over the top declaration of war.Fair enough, but when we are bombing ISIS in Iraq and ISIS is attacking civilians in France, what else would you call it?
Ur right Beuno, still though it barely registered a blip for most folks. Tonight, middle class Americans are watching this and thinking quickly about how easily that could happen in places like 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Lincoln Street in Miami, and Times Square in NYC.Well to be fair, I doubt we have as many media in Baghdad or that they would be able to operate as freely.
There are known areas of ISIS operations that the world has not committed resources to eliminating, "safe havens" if you will.Pretty sure they are anywhere they want to be Trip
So, just ignore the rest of what i posted.Because too many innocent people are being murdered and Western countries are living in fear.
I thought this was obvious, but perhaps not.
Not WW3 like WW1 or WW2 for sure. Not WW3 and over the top declaration of war.
Its been "declared" for a while.
That quote is as empty as Al Capone's vault"It must be the civilized world vs. ISIS"
-Geraldo
Your damn straight Geraldo, preach on brother.
I'm hoping we don't have to turn into a Mexico situation where we have to pass through military checkpoints when we travel so they can check for guns and drugs.
Granted, we do have closer relationships with France, but I think it is still a matter of media coverage. My half Iraqi wife didn't shed many tears over Baghdad even though she has relative there, but she is bawling her eyes out over France. Maybe because it's closer to home, I don't know.Ur right Beuno, still though it barely registered a blip for most folks. Tonight, middle class Americans are watching this and thinking quickly about how easily that could happen in places like 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Lincoln Street in Miami, and Times Square in NYC.
Exactly"ISIS is collapsing, these terrorists attacks were way worse when they used to be much stronger." (No one ever).
One crazy person with a truck doesn't change the fact that we are anhilating them from strongholds all over the Middle East. This is a reaction to the fact we wiped the Chechen dude."ISIS is collapsing, these terrorists attacks were way worse when they used to be much stronger." (No one ever).
I agree. I think we've already compromised the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments in response. With this happening on foreign soil, obviously our constitution / rights aren't overly relevant in this specific case, but...
As we see an escalation in these types of attacks, especially the ones here at home, I find myself wondering more and more which of our Constitutional rights is the most dangerous to those they were put into place to protect.
The Old Testament is loaded with things that are actually illegal now in the United States but they are still printing it and worshiping it weekly on Sundays. The idea that Trump is going to make this situation worse is ridiculous to me. These guys don't give a damn who the President of the US is. They're coming for everyone. Look up what their damn book is about. They believe everyone who doesn't believe like them or convert deserve to die. It's there.
I think we should send Paul Bremer over there and have him fix the mess he and the people who decided on CPA Order 2 created. This is now turning into a boots on the ground operation...it needs to happen.
Krauthammer literally just called him out on air for not offering a single solution.O'Reilly talking about solutions...CNN not so much.
And his solutions?O'Reilly talking about solutions...CNN not so much.
How much of this has been reported on Fox News? From the link:This unfortunate event doesn't change anything. Stay the course
http://addictinginfo.org/2016/07/13/collapse-isis-now-admits-obamas-strategy-is-destroying-them/
The same ones we wiped out a few years ago with Bush? How did that turn out? I'll wait...One crazy person with a truck doesn't change the fact that we are anhilating them from strongholds all over the Middle East. This is a reaction to the fact we wiped the Chechen dude.
Kraut had one of the best statements, ISIS is not winning and actually are getting pinched and so they are trying to act out as many horrific acts as they can.And his solutions?
His strategy is working? What is this 'addictinginfo.com'? Looks to me like a liberal version of WND!!!
Goes up every time I look at news report...I got to stop watching.Death toll rises to 77 now
I know right? Even that liberal Greta Van Susteren on the bastion of liberal propaganda, Fox News, was spewing the same garbage. His strategy is working? What is this 'addictinginfo.com'? Looks to me like a liberal version of WND!!!

Repeating the same mistakes that resulted in ISIS's rise to prominence is bad policy. This is now turning into a boots on the ground operation...it needs to happen.
Well we are not enlightened enough as a society to truly know how to fix the systemic issues that give rise to extremism in the middle east. But for now, all we can do is eliminate the infestations as they come. This current ISIS infestation will sooner or later be cured. That is not to say that there will not be another that forms in their wake. The same ones we wiped out a few years ago with Bush? How did that turn out? I'll wait...
It was Fox with Greta Van Sustren and a Republican agreeing it was working. His strategy is working? What is this 'addictinginfo.com'? Looks to me like a liberal version of WND!!!

I rarely agree with you--in fact I don't think I ever have. But, this is what needs to happen, and it needed to happen a long time ago.I'm afraid the decision is moving in that direction. I can see France, England, United States, and several other Euro countries pushing to have a united front and perhaps showing the World that they are not going to take this any longer.
I believe they need troops on the ground coming from all directions around that pseudo caliphate they built or declared and do the nasties and take them out cave by cave, sand drift after sand drift until you meet these 4 armies in the middle and destroy them.
We need a recalibration of what we have been doing in the ME since 1990. I have no idea who I trust in government to do this properly right now.Repeating the same mistakes that resulted in ISIS's rise to prominence is bad policy.
Brilliant insight. I'm sure we'll find this was all due to some Old Testament fanatics. The Old Testament is loaded with things that are actually illegal now in the United States but they are still printing it and worshiping it weekly on Sundays.
Typically don't link up those type of site, but the pertinent info is direct quotes and stats. Are you contesting those? His strategy is working? What is this 'addictinginfo.com'? Looks to me like a liberal version of WND!!!

Sure you will if Hillary changes hers, for votes, you will follow. She will alter her stance because this is helping Trump. If changing my position means supporting halting immigration, placing all Muslims under suspicion, and electing nationalist leaders like Trump or Le Pen, then I can tell you right now I will NEVER change my position.
Yeah, that tree hugger Charles Krauthammer arrived to the same conclusion.I know right? Even that liberal Greta Van Susteren on the bastion of liberal propaganda, Fox News, was spewing the same garbage.
Hey there. I'm just saying that simply because something is written in a religious book/bible doesn't mean everyone is practicing it literally. I think in the OT it says you should put the blood of an animal on your door certain times of the year, specific instructions on women when they are on their monthly, I'm just saying let's not make one religion worse than others because there are a few we don't discuss that are heinous as well.Brilliant insight. I'm sure we'll find this was all due to some Old Testament fanatics.
I want people to add this up. I know nearly everyone loves the withdrawal from Iraq but otherwise the war has continued unabated, it's even expanded. How much of this has been reported on Fox News? From the link:
According to the Department of Defense, as of July 12, the coalition has flown 13,803 airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against ISIS targets. Of those, 10,577 airstrikes were executed by American fighter pilots.
The Department also reports as of May this year Operation Inherent Resolve had destroyed or damaged 26,374 target under ISIS control. This includes 143 tanks, 6,545 buildings, and 1,620 parts of the oil infrastructure that ISIS has been using to finance their missions.
The conflict isn’t over, but ISIS is not expanding. It’s getting smaller.
