Is anyone else shocked that Ricky Brown is playing in the Nickel with Thomas Howard and Kirk Morrison isn't?

They like him a lot. Maybe they are protecting Morrison because of his injury.

Talk about confusing. Morrison was originally sharing time with Brown b/c of a supposed deficiency in stopping the run. Now...Morrison is playing on running downs and yielding to Brown on passing downs.

I am hoping this is due to keeping him fresh from lack of practice over the last few weeks. Anyone with more info?Weiner Dog said:
Yeah, and it no doubt had a heavy effect on his value. He was out of the game for the entire series at the end of the game, when the Raiders were exclusively in a prevent type of defense. Hopefully this was just due to his injury or there was some reasoning behind him missing so many plays, because if not, I'm afraid that Morrison could potentially lose some value if he is not going to consistently be on the playing field.

Morrison played more downs (64) than any other LB last week (Howard - 62 & Brown - 53). In fact, his 64 snaps only trailed Aso's and C Johnson's 68 snaps.
