Moving league to Contracts and Salary cap (1 Viewer)

My league wants to discuss changing over to a salary cap league with contracts. I've been in leagues where this was there from the beginning, but have no idea how to set it up once the league has started. Has anyone done this and able to provide any assistance or direction?

You want the numbers as a function of last season, or as a projection for next season.

It's the 5th or 6th year of a dynasty league. The owners don't want to start over.

That is what I suggested to my league, but no one wanted to spend 8 hours at the draft, much less do the research.

I think as a function of last season's ending values instead of a projection.
