I don't see the argument that weekdays should be treated any different than weekends. Plenty of people work weekends and will have weekdays as their days off that they can sleep in. If it's rude to do on a weekend it's rude to do on a week day.

Agreed. Not everyone works regular hours on M-F.

Good point. Forget my earlier response. The real answer is "whenever Fabian gets to it." Usually it's on Monday afternoons.
