Let's see. The Redskins pass defense is great to begin with, and they really don't even need to respect Tim Rattay. This leads to tough sledding for Edge, especially if Washington gets an early lead and the running game goes out the window.

I'm not feelin' my boy this week. Talk me off the ledge.

I think Rattay may suprise. Remember he made the likes of Brandon Lloyd look like a superstar.

Skins run D isn't that great. They shut down the Lions and Packers who have little interest in running the ball. The Giants had decent success and the Eagles did too (but for whatever reason decided to stop feeding Westbrook). When they played Miami, Cameron was still doing that dumb time share with Ronnie Brown and Chatman. The numbers might look good, but the D might actually not be. Yes, I am a Redskins fan, but I'm not blind either. If Gregg Williams feels he can commit one of his safeties to the run, then they'll be tougher. As it is, he's keeping them back and trying to eliminate the long ball that killed them so often last year. Rattay is serviceable and will get the respect, at least initially IMO.

If he could put up 70 and a TD, he can match that against the Skins. Rattay's not that much of a drop-off from the way Leinart was playing. Never mind, I'm trying to convinve myself.

Got the RBs on both sides. Going to be an interesting game! Should be a cakewalk for edge after facing Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Then again it might be one of those games where they stack the box and force Rattay to beat em.

That's what I'm saying. I'm having a hard time envisioning a scenario where the Cards score more than 10 points.The good news is that I also have the Skins defense, so one way or another I guess I'll be happy.
