Must Suck to be in the EST time zone (1 Viewer)

West coast times are definitely better. On Sundays, you can watch games at 10:00, 1:30 and 5:30. With only Primetime in between the 1:30 and 5:30, it's basically football the entire day. You can even sleep in until 9, get breakfast, read the paper and be ready for the 10:00 games. :D

Monday Night Footballl must be miserable in the east, having to stay up until past midnight, then getting up early to work four more days that week.
Mom will extended curfew one day.

Surprising that this start time is the most economically advantageous for the NFL and the networks.
Clearly the networks have examined this issue extensively. Despite the pros and cons listed above, it's clear that the largest viewership, and thus total sponsor revenues, is during late afternoon/primetime (Eastern and Central time zones)
Great for adults, but try explaining to your kids that they have to go to bed after the first quarter because of the start time.
I'll give you that.My 6-year-old loves watching the Sunday games with me (and vice versa, of course), but doesn't seem to have a problem with not seeing any of the SNF or MNF games. Of course, as he gets older, that may change.

Still, it's not like he needs to be sitting in front of the TV for every game on Sunday and Monday like someone else in his family.

Getting your bets in at Vegas would suck on Sunday mornings.
It's the worst. The worst, Jerry. Also, good luck actually getting someplace to sit in one of the nice sportsbooks unless you're up and situated by about 8 AM. :X

The key in Vegas is to not go to bed on Saturday night and just keep going into Sunday! :banned: :banned: :banned:
