auction redraft. start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, k, d

i'm looking for some expert ppr advice on how to go into my auction draft. it seems that people are going to be over-paying for wr's now. i think that aside from 2 starting rb's (preferably pass catchers), i should focus the rest on solid wr's. and it seems that qb won't have as much value, so i can save some money there for better wr's.

does adding ppr significantly move the pre-season rankings versus non-ppr? it seems that it would do no good to target rb's that don't play a part in the passing game, especially in the lower tiers. i would think that the best way to go would be get a top 5 rb, charles, and then wr's. any ppr experts care to chime in?

My advise is to not overthink it.

The biggest change in PPR is value within a position. For example, Michael Turner loses value relative to other RBs who are involved in the passing game. WRs like Welker or Steve Smith NYG gain value.

But I would not entirely change my strategy just based on PPR. Yes, you want RBs who catch a lot of balls but a guy like Turner can still be valuable if you think he is gonna put up similar yardage and TD totals as he has the last 2 years on a per game basis. You also want to consider spending a little more on WRs relative to non PPR but I would not overspend. You can always find value on guys once the big names are off the board. And you should still be able to get a top WR at a reasonable price unless everyone just loses their mind. In that case, just reap the benefits of the resulting value that can be had later on when others are out of money.
