Like playing real life monopoly in Detroit!I would like to play real life SimCity with Columbus. Would be fun IMO
Yes but it's a #### holeNew York New York? Is that place still open?
If you get an emoji of the Columbus, OH, airport then you'll be a HOF'er on this board."Wow Otis your thread about the airport in Columbus, Ohio is really lame!!!!"
Hot flirty steakhouse bartender, top notch meal, nice taxi ride home.Lol at a "nice taxi" noob
Graduated HS there - haven't been by there in years. When I was there 20 years ago I could barely find my old house - things had grown up around there so much.I am about 10 minutes from the airport in the lovely suburb of Gahanna.
I think you eat too much red meat.http://i.imgur.com/jre6s4P.jpg

Says the guy who touts himself as the best thing to ever happen to a magic football messageboard. As an aside, I'm always stunned lately that grown men have time for video games. I LOVED them when I was a kid. But I look at that Mad Cow "build a gaming rig" thread and think to myself "yeah, because that's the kind of thing I have time for, building my own gaming rig that makes my Zelda MUCH faster."
That's how I know I'm old. I'm lucky if I have time for the basic ####. And maybe to blow off some steam in here. But to be like "honey, I need to run out to buy a new GPU and then spend the evening soldering it in so I can beat that Hydra on level 24!."
That #### is not my life.

I don't think we've ever had someone around here who tried this hard
I moved to Cbus 6 years ago and have been in Gahanna for 5. Long timers have told me that Gahanna used to be the "country" for the Cbus area. Even though Gahanna is landlocked they are still finding nooks and crannies to build new houses.Graduated HS there - haven't been by there in years. I feel the same way about Polaris commercial development. When.will.it.end.I moved to Cbus 6 years ago and have been in Gahanna for 5. True, and sad, for me as well. But that's a cool thread to read. Vicarious living and all that.As an aside, I'm always stunned lately that grown men have time for video games. I spent my senior year there - we moved around during my HS days. Lived in Academy Acres when there wasn't much there - 1 street, not a whole lot of houses and a lot of farm and fields (1976).I moved to Cbus 6 years ago and have been in Gahanna for 5. Long timers have told me that Gahanna used to be the "country" for the Cbus area. Even though Gahanna is landlocked they are still finding nooks and crannies to build new houses.

what sort of things do you enjoy? This was not the thread to read if you're looking for something cool to do in Columbus.
Is there anything cool to do in Columbus? I might be stuck there in June listening to dudes with beards play steel guitars at some festival.
Actually a nice pub crawl before the show starts wouldn't be bad. I figured as a college town there'd be some nice bars/restaurants in the area.what sort of things do you enjoy?
there's a pretty decent bar scene here.
