My God Teddy Bridgewater is terrible (1 Viewer)

What geniuses saw potential in this guy again? Lucy throws a better looking ball than this clown. His release point is under his elbow if that's possible. Horrible.

Two worst QB's in the league - Bridgewater and RG3. Neither guy can throw the ball at all.

He's a rookie with a rookie RB under center and arguably one of the ####tiest receiving corps in the NFL.
This. Way too soon to be bashing this kid.
Don't be surprised if two or three seasons from now this thread will reappear with all sorts of "How could we have doubted this guy?" posts, much like the "Phillip Rivers Is Terrible" thread ended up.

Besides, MIN didn't want to start him but Matt Cassell got hurt.

268yds 1 td and no turnovers..
If you think those number tell the story, your crazy. He looks bad right now. Hopefully he gets better seeing he's just a rookie.
Didn't say that. However, those are his numbers. I agree he needs to improve. He should of had 400 plus yards and 3 tds...
Agreed. He should have had a monster day. The oline is terrible as well so that's restricting him. Still, he's just not making a lot of throws he should.

Watched most of the first half. Bad day today and a win and some nice passes. Some wide open guys missed deep, Jennings and Patterson included. Rookie.

It's nowhere near Gabbert nor Ponder status, I don't think.

Lol. This thread goes to show no one knows what to look for when evaluating quarterback talent, even the scouts. Imo Teddy will be better than Luck when it's all said and done.

PM me your dealers number, TIA.

I actually own Luck in redraft this year (so I have as much reason to hate him as anyone), and still don't think this is even remotely close to true. & I actually did (pre draft last year) and still do believe in Teddy.

Can you share with the rest of us, so we stop looking for the wrong things, and making smart people laugh out loud?

I hate making people laugh out loud. Even worse, they sometimes laugh their a## off.

I'm a big Bridgewater fan but this is silly. Bridgewater's ceiling is a healthy Chad Pennington (and that's a bigger compliment than it appears if you delve into his individual numbers and his team's success when he was healthy). Luck's ceiling is Aaron Rodgers - he's likely not going to quite reach that ceiling.

Luck's every bit as smart as Teddy is and he's the far superior arm talent and overall athlete. It's really not even close.

Bridgewater has a better arm than Pennington so he should be better. They are similar in style, though.

Yes, he does. Not much better but you are right. Maybe I should have said his ceiling is a bit above a healthy Pennington.ETA: Pennington's arm strength (which was never strong) dismissed after his shoulder injuries so the "healthy" part of the equation comes even more into play.

The offensive line is really bad. I think Teddy is going to be good but not elite. He is good enough to win a superbowl but I don't think he will ever be an elite fantasy QB.
