My son had a soccer tournament in Frederick, MD a few weeks ago and my wife made me take everyone to Wegman's for lunch. I, like any red blooded American male, gave her #### for wanting to go to a grocery store for lunch. I ate a lot of crow from that glorious prepared food bar extravaganza.
next time you're in Frederick go to Barley and Hops Grill & Microbrewery Good beer with decent happy hour prices. Also they make juicy lucy burgers which are pretty awesome.
We were sitting in the parking lot for this place when my wife says, "Oh, A Wegman's! We have to go there"
Wegmans has some of the best prepared food ever from a grocery store. Their sandwiches are very good, and the food bar(s) have some good stuff too!
The Wegmans by me opened their own liquor storehttp://www.amherstwineandliquor.com

Super cheap.
That would be great here in the Commonwealth of VA, but we HAVE to but alcohol from the state!!!
Hooray, Commonwealths!! (I've had to deal with this in PA)

Appropriate article today. Best fast food burger is...
Next time I want a patty on a bun with no condiments or seasoning whatsoever, I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
Honestly, who is eating plain burgers in the first place?
:oldunsure:

Used to be my go-to trick to get a hot burger, then I just took to it. I hate a bunch of lettuce on a burger. Gross. I do like tomato, and will dip my burger in ketchup (or buffalo sauce if they have it).

But usually just my fast food burger with cheese only. Fancier joints I'll roll with the tomato.

I had a Habit Burger today after seeing it mentioned in a link here. Um, I liked it a ton. It's a block from an In N Out and that's a tough call now. It started as a food truck.

Locations, mostly California, some Arizona, Utah, misc...

Fries - arbys curly

Burger - don't get these often, but would say Wendy's jbc or a whopper

Chicken sandwich - CFA spicy chicken

Burrito - chipotle

Breakfast - CFA spicy chicken biscuit

Shakes - steak n shake

Sub - potbelly wreck

Nuggets - CFA, Wendy's and bk are all 10000000 times better than MCD

Misc - arby sauce, taco bell hot sauce, arbys anything
A few bulleyes there, but seriously Whataburger 10 times out of 10 over Wendy's.
No love for Arby's potato cakes? I would eat those 100 out of 100 times over curly fries.
Not sure I've tried those. Are those the triangle shaped hash brown things? ... Full disclosure, I tend to avoid Arby's as a best-effort to extend my life expectancy. I could murder curley fries like a cat in a vat of mice.
yes, yes they are. hot, fresh ...deliciouso with both arby and horsey sauce
Always get the potato cakes myself over the fries. This is not bad either: http://arbys.com/our-menu/smoked-turkey/smokehouse-turkey

Burgers - In-N-Out

Chicken Sandwich - Patio (a small chain near me)

Fried Chicken - Don't ever order, not a fan

French Fries - McDonald's (ashamed to admit)

Chili Cheese Fries- Creamery (a small chain near me)

Milkshakes - Creamery (see above)

Chicken Nuggets - McDonald's (ashamed to admit)

Subs - Jimmy John

Burrito- Chipotle (for a fast food chain option)

Breakfast- Everything sucks... I go to Dunkin Donuts and get a bagel. Boring. Need better options!!!!

Misc. - Ribs (not a normal fast food option but they have a drive thru... so)- Patio (mentioned previously)

People go to these places over Chipotle?
I had a stretch where I was going to Chipotle for lunch at work about 4 out of 5 days.

Liked the food and thought it was 'healthier' than the other crap.

Found out my blood pressure was high and actually looked at the numbers. Not nearly as healthy as one might expect or think. Sky high sodium.

Started up in Santa Barbara, CA. Went there a bunch when I was in college. Back then it was "The Hamburger Habit", and me and my buddies affectionately called it "The Habit". I like to think that we had a hand in their success, seeing we called it that since the mid-90's and probably dropped a few g's there over the course of the years

But yeah, they've expanded big time and glad to see it. I spent 8 years out of SoCal and was excited to see them all over the place. May just have to go today. :excited:
