My Stock Value Strategy Starts Now (2 Viewers)

Had a GTC limit sell order in on 2,000 PRGN @ $5.70. Profit of $279.70

Cost basis was a little higher than everybody else because I bought shortly after the big jump and then averaged down.

Edit: Had I noticed the jump this morning I would have taken that GTC order down and waited it out. Although it's nice to have a chunk of change back in my account now so I can take advantage of any dips.

I've got 0.05 trailing stops on both DRYS and PRGN at this point. I'm sure it'll dip at some point today and trigger. I'll take the couple grand in profit and run -- it can make up for a portion of my recent FAZ baths...

Just moved 2000 PRGN @ $5.76.

I'll likely keep my remaining 1000 shares as a longer term investment.

Year to Date Profit = $135,707

Today's Realized Gains/Losses = $9,200

Sold 10K PRGN @ 5.75 - Profit = $3,700

Sold 8K PRGN @ 5.70 - Profit = $2,560

Sold 10K PRGN @ 5.65 - Profit = $2,700

Commissions = $48

Sold 1K DRYS @ 8.25 - Profit = $300 - 12

Out 2300 PRGN at 5.76.

I re-edged all my landscape beds with a shovel last night. Sure, it's no Dodds moat, but you've got to start somewhere. I just bought one of these to float in my mini-moat.
I am going to buy a Paragon Pirate Ship too. Very nice. I think we will get a few more rides like this with this stock before 2nd quarter earnings too. This one really seemed easy to me too. Yes the stock will likely go to $6 now, but there will be a pullback somewhere.

I can't believe this. GPRE has advance 25% today in the first 20 minutes trading over 100,000 shares. Thats over 3 times the average daily volume.WTF? There really hasn't been any news over the past 8 trading days.
I was considering buying some today too after the posts you made Friday. :blackdot:
The RSI is appraoching 90, so this is going to pull back sometime soon, I'll post when it does. The 100 day MA is inching closer to crossing over the 200 day MA.
YOWZA. $7.50 +$1.27 up 20% after yesterdays 40% gain

added 2,000 KERX at 1.29 (I might be too late to this party though). It just seems like this company should have a lot higher market cap.

I hate the fact that I didn't go all in on PRGN this morning like I wanted, but I can't be upset locking in profits.

Bought

PRGN 1,200 @ 4.74

Sold

PRGN 1,200 @ 5.805

Profit $1,281

Just added back 500 DRYS at $8.16. Probably will regret this decision, but the huge wad of cash was burning a hole in my pocket. My biggest fear is sitting mostly in cash when this market goes nuts and missing the big runup (whether that's now of two years from now). Need to find some "safe" plays to park some money.

Wacky. Like someone said, with so little volume most people must be using limits and then someone comes in with a market order causing the stock price to jump to whatever priced limit is out there in the queue. The action at 10:24 has got to be someone buying a large block at market. He hit small allotments at like 11 different prices all over the map with $0.20 up and down spread.

sold 6000 of PRGN @ 5.75

still holding onto 3000
What was your buyin price?
Ave $5.35. I'm happy with it. One of these times, i'm thinking PRGN will be a "rocketship" and it's not gonna fall back and allow for re-buy opportunity. Hopefully not quite yet, but cuz of that I held onto some...
I tried following it up with a Stop loss and got knocked out at 5.77.Not bad for my 1st PRGN.... bought in at 5.40 for 2,000.

But, Agree with the Rocketship.. Maybe next time I'll play around using a stop limit...

I kinda wish I was still in it - At some point a lot of people here will be on the sidelines as it explodes is THIS it?

I'd like to hear some thoughts on Natural Gas (No Jokes). Seems like every other commodity has gone up in recent months yet NG has lagged behind. Marc Faber recently said that NG is currently the most undervalued commodity.

@$15 a share might be a good place to park some money.

PRGN has peaked around 10am almost everyday lately then fell off, and it seems to have done it again. For those that have gotten out of it, at what price are you getting back in?

I won't be around the computer today, so I put in a limit buy at 5.55. It may go lower than that, but I don't want to miss out. Especially since it seems like easy money buying late in the day and selling the next day at 10am.

Im gonna try to get in a bit lower $5.40 ish would be nice.

Paragon looks juicy now that cantor is hopefully done flooding the market with their shares.

i'm waiting to sell at $7, so until then i'm holding my shares.

People have been saying that for months on the Gold forum. Most are took a bath in it or are extremely upside down. That said, it is tempting.

My buddy has made a KILLING on natural gas, and has been pushing it on me for months now. He loves UNG and CHK and NOV. Holds them all.

I don't think you're too late. Card trader (from fbgs) was in it in the 80s and tried to get me in. Great volume. I'm in 2500 shares @ 1.27

Guessing he must have been shorting them? NG has done nothing but head down for the past 9 months until recently.

No, he's been long the past couple months. He's been pushing them hard in recent weeks.

Ran some errands and totally missed the high of 9.25 of the day, now down to 7.90.

Put a sell order in for 8.50...let's see what happens.

Resistance at 1.27. But the shares are being bought. Plenty of bids in the 125 range. I think we break 127 and move up soon.

If PRGN closes above the 200MA today, that's a big sign. The rocket ship could be taking off. I hope we don't miss the boat -- I'm somewhat regretting selling today...
