Feeling pretty good about heb still. Looks like someone big is triggering the stoplosses and buying up huge chunks. Still a gamble for sure but feeling better after seeing level 2. I have no stoploss set fyi
Will the FDA thing be settled by Tuesday for sure or is that just a preliminary date?
I belive the date is for mnday. But with that being a holiday I don't know how that will work. Might as soon as afterhours today. They announced VNDA after hours. So I guess my answer is not sure.
Also have my bet ready on HEB...limit order at 1.25 for 500 shares.
In for 150 shares at 1.31 - with a 45% stop loss

We are either going broke, or going to build a moat on Tuesday. Much more likely that we are going broke the more I read about it.

yea i dont know.

It had 4 to 5 X the normal volume. alot of the day somoene was walking it down with 100 share blocks and then big buys of 20000 plus blocks would go thru.

So I dont know whats going to happen.

Just thought you guys would like to see this. Using Google Stock Screener, I screened for stocks that met this criteria:

1. Stocks that are down at least 70% from a year ago

2. Stocks with at least $100M Market Cap

3. Stocks with a P/E of 0 to 2.5

Guess what? Just 13 stocks made this list. I think this list represents the best of the value plays:

ATP Oil & Gas Corporation

United States Steel Corporation

TBS International Limited

Star Bulk Carriers Corp.

Danaos Corporation

Paragon Shipping Inc.

Petroleum Development Corporation

Eagle Rock Energy Partners,LP,

Dampskibsselskabet Torm A/S (ADR)

Mechel OAO (ADR)

Allied Irish Banks, plc. (ADR)

Satyam Computer Services Limited(ADR)

Bank of Ireland (ADR)

I don't get it. What's the obsession with Irish banks?

DD,I meant to mention this, but my buddy at Columbia biz school just concocted some crazy algorithm for identifying best value stocks out there, and when he ran it Paragon was in his best 5 or 10 hits.

I'd stay away from the Irish banks, they are essentially insolvent with the massive investments in MBS they made. Irelands economy/housing market was super hot until the global meltdown, now they are almost as bad off as Iceland (bankrupt.) They may end up being takeover plays though, once the financials get healthier.I don't think you can trust Satyam either, the former CEO admitted a few months ago that he cooked the books.

Yeah I am not looking at adding these banks, SAY, etc.... I just think it's interesting that when I run the value screens three Dryshippers show up. I do think I will be adding some SBLK though. This is another really good company.

Even if the market goes south, I plan on holding Paragon (and possibly adding shares) through any turbulence

For all of us with an HEB Gamble on, it's back up to $1.45 pre market. The yahoo message board for HEB is out of hand, many, many posts in short amounts of time. If this thing gets approved today, HEB is in for a good run.

I'm still holding all mine in cash. Looking for PRGN or SBLK to pullback a little, and hoping to buy in near $5.00 on either.

:mellow:But question....when do we get OUT?

and to the stock god overlooking my 19,000 shares of PRGN.....THANK YOU

Baltic Supramax 1,830 (-0.38%)

Baltic Handysize 871 (+0.23%)

Baltic Dry 2,942 (+5.60%)

Baltic Capesize 4,797 (+10.45%)

Baltic Panamax 2,369 (+3.31%)
You're going to need a bigger moat.
PRGN is so undervalued. If the NASDAQ could find a way to jump up 3% today (highly unlikely I know), this thing would be a rocketship. Only the whole stock market is holding back the Dry Bulk industry right now. BDI is poised to crack 3,000 (up from a low of around 400 in December).

DO you have a Number you want to sell at today??? IF it hits 6.30? Just curious as your thoughts (especially with your possible fears of a pullback) I'll hang up and listen!
Even though I think it's worth $6.50+ right now, I would sell it all around the $5.75-$5.80 range just because of my overall fear of where this market is. But if I hold onto this today (day before ex-dividend date), I will hold until date of record to make sure I get my dividend of 5 cents per share.

I have no idea. Thats not a good answer I know, but I'm just being honest. I guess at any point after the drug gets rejected. If it's approved, I guess it does not matter because it will be a lot higher then what we bought it for.

I have decided I'm holding for the 2 weeks.

I am buying SBLK at the opening if this holds.Pre-Market: 4.92 -0.10 (-1.99%)Earnings are mid-week
This is where my money is going today at some point.
Isn't this already up? How far you think this will move even with great results?Just curious.
I think we can see $6.00 by the end of the week. Capesizes are where the big money is in my opinion, and 1/3 of their fleet are those.

Still holding PRGN 10,000 shares at $5.45

Im holding long-term. $7 and Ill start thinking of getting out. I was fully expecting (and posted) about this drop, but I dont see it going below $5 before its steady climb.

With the delay announced, why is HEB up to $1.50
I think the idea is the FDA would have been able to sack them today with all the time they have had. If they "need another week or two" they must be leaning towards approval.
Gonna help you guys out...just sold 1000 at $1.45 for a profit of $42. I'll look to re-enter at a lower level or applaud you guys when you get rich.

This might get messy for me...I just added 8,000 PRGN at 5.15-5.18 (market order)
 So you're into this for essentially most of your yearly profit of over 100k? That is awesome.

COME ON DOUBLE UP
I have 27K shares at $5.35.....a little crazy I suppose, but I don't see how this company does not pop before 2nd quarter earnings. I think fair value is close to $7.50 and I strongly believe they remain the best take over target in this sector by a longshot. My plan is to maneuver in and out of up to 30K shares of PRGN before the 2nd quarter. At these prices, I just don't see how I don't get in now....lolIf it doubles by the 2nd quarter, I will get a PRGN tattoo. LOL

ATP Oil and Gas (ATPG) is the stock I selected in the first of the year stock picker thread. I've been lucky and unlucky with it.In early Feb I wrote 50 put contracts on the $5 strike and had the stock put to me...I then wrote the $5.00 April Calls and in April had the stock taken away from me. Profit was about $2.00 per share. Currently I have no position.

However I believe ATPG is undervalued...probably significantly. I'm looking to re-buy if it can get down to the $7.00 range. I think there is a good potential to run to the $20 level with 1 year and $50+ in 2-3 years.
