My Stock Value Strategy Starts Now (3 Viewers)

It's stuff like this that makes me think I am right about HEB:

http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/news/S...20News/2401237/

Way more people buying, but the stock is dropping. There is so much naked interest in this stock by the MMs and Hedge Funds trying their hardest to hold this thing back. This feels like DNDN all over again to me. They are trying their hardest to keep people afraid so this thing doesn't naturally take off.

And like clockwork, the stock starts moving ... up 0.12 in the last few minutes

I am going down swinging with this stock. It's at 2.64 now and I am not selling. I think the recoil on the spring could get CRAZY here soon. Come on HEB!!!!

I sold 4,000 shares at 2.70 just in case this ends up being a false alarm here. Very happy with how this is going for me though.

Still holding 8,000 shares

make up your mind Dodds!!!
yes wishy washy here, but I went with the never fall in love with a stock and bank some of the win while you can.My average price on the 12K shares is now at $2.20. So the sell of the 4,000 netted me $2,000 - $24 in commissions. Very very nice.

Im thinking of piling on the PRGN at $3.70

But, I think Ill be able to get more at $3.60ish in the next week or so???? I just dont wanna miss the boat.

Not much resistance up to 2.80.

My guess is we see $3.60s (or lower) soon as all it will take is a bad day for the NASDAQ. Although I think we are correct in our assessment about PRGN in August, that is still a long ways away. Swing Traders don't hold this long usually.

You never can tell, but there are a lot of buyers in the queue from 3.66-3.61. If the market turns south or if the ATM offering isn't over you may get a chance at 3.60. That said, If your going to build a considerable position you may want to start now.

$3.67 looks pretty good. Maybe try to get half of what you are looking to invest at $3.67 or shoot for $3.65 yet today. And see if you can accumuate at a better price yet this week or next.

I set a buy of 2,000 HEB at $2.50 to try to get back to 10,000 shares, but not sure it will get there. I am starting to divorce myself from this actual company and it's product. I really think a lot of money could have been made (and still probably can be) playing these swings. Of course I won't ever be on the side shorting this thing.

just hope it doesnt get there on FDA rejection. I actually took mine off because of that fear.

could somebody explain this to me?

http://studio-5.financialcontent.com/edgar...114420409032180

This stock has been nowhere near a dollar in the last however many months.
Check out the explanation 1 and 2 at the bottom of the form which explains the amount of shares in section 4 of Table I. The share price was set in January 2008 for vesting of shares this summer. Looks like Mr. Emil is going to exercise the options as soon as they vest.

Was trading in HEB halted? Somethings cooking!

Shame I have no vested interest. Excitement like this is what Wall St. is all about.

2 new vessel contracts. Will see a nice bump tomorrow.
Good find, KGB. :goodposting: I bolded some of the highlights from an article below.http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews...20090701?rpc=44

UPDATE 1-Paragon Shipping signs new charters for 2 vessels

* Announces 2-yr charters for 2 panamax vessels

* Says to boost fleet revenue by $25 mln

* Charters to increase 2010, 2011 fixed-revenue days

* Contracts to start between Dec 2009 and April 2010

July 1 (Reuters) - Paragon Shipping Inc (PRGN.O) said it entered into new charter agreements for two of its panamax vessels, which will boost revenue and result in higher 2010 and 2011 fixed-revenue days.

The company's gross contracted fleet revenue from existing charters would be increased by about $25 million to $325 million, Chief Executive Michael Bodouroglou said in a statement.

The shipping transportation company said its Calm Seas and Coral Seas panamax bulk carriers had been chartered for 23 to 26 months at a gross daily rate of $15,775 per vessel with Intermare Transport GMBH.

The new charters are expected to increase Paragon's fixed-revenue days in 2010 and 2011 to 84 percent and 66 percent, from 72 percent and 49 percent, respectively.

Paragon said the contracts are scheduled to commence between Dec. 2009 and April 2010.

Shares of the Athens-based company were up 2 percent at $3.74 in after-market trade. They closed at $3.67 Wednesday on Nasdaq.

I put in a buy order on DSCO trying to get in on the oversell. Didn't get in yet. Back up to .60

Maybe. They booked these at 16K a day which is pretty awful seeing how they are earning at 54K and 37K a day now. But spot rate (BDI) is just 23K now so I guess this is the value of things.

Those rates are not great. SBLK did a little better for itself a couple of months ago. I think SBLK is a better value at this point. Coverage rates for 2010 and 2011 are less at 71 and 42 but SBLK will out earn (per share as well) PRGN in 2010 and they have 100 million less debt. PRGN is still a good value and I would certainly feel comfortable holding the stock with the clearer future revenue visibility.

I need to delve into SBLK more, but appreciate this post. I once was all over this stock, but it then grew so fast that I sent it to the sidelines.
