Maybe instead of Flacco and Henne I'd add Cutler and Eli? Just throwing it out there.

I still think that even with the addition of Q in Baltimore he is more of a decoy to keep the defense honest and prevent them from stacking the box. They are still a running team. Pretty much same thing can be said about Marshall in Miami. Both of those teams will probably just be more balanced if anything.

Cutler will be airing it out due to Martz's ego and Eli is always right there on the line of the top 10.

And I guess due to my reasoning, bump down Marshall a couple spots and perhaps move up Calvin Johnson.

you like the Henne to Marshall combo huh?

The Greene pick is nice, wonder where Medenhall is? And a rookie at #8?

Romo is kinda ballsy too, I like Rodgers to the #1 QB this year

Love the fresh take on the rankings. Have to admit, no Turner in non-ppr is tough for me to buy; not so surprised about SJax though.

Solid.

As some have already said, with the Martz offense, I think Cutler cracks the top 10 - personally I'd plunk him in the 8th spot.

I also think you have Crabtree too high (especially if you have Davis at TE4) - and this is coming from a Crabtree dynasty owner. I just don't think he has the talent at QB to be quite that high in non-PPR. Top 15, maybe - but top 10 is a little bit of stretch, imho - again, especially with Davis ranked that high. I just don't think the 49er offense can support 3 players in the top 7 (or better) at their respective positions.

Other than those, nicely done.

Good writeup, thanks for the exercise. I don't have any real critiques. You laid your opinion out there and that takes some balls.

Pretty good list. The only one that REALLY stands out is Gates as the #3 TE. I think he is closer to #1 this year with a likely V. Jackson holdout for the season.

Fun lists by both of you. Thanks for the effort. I like threads of this nature.Just one question: No Reggie Wayne in the top 10 at WR? I'd bet my left testicle that he outscores more than half on your lists in any format.

OK, I'm kidding about my testicle. But Wayne is as consistent as they come.

(Waiting for the "too many mouths to feed" reasoning that I don't buy.)

It was hard to leave Wayne off my list. I guess I don't see the upside as much as I used to. He definitely needs to be re-inserted behind Marshall. But I'd be more excited about drafting the others on the list. Perhaps it was a personal bias. Wayne, as you are right to bet your lineage on, is :lmao:

Not a single Eagle in the bunch? You must really think Kolb is going to stink the joint up, eh?
In addition to Celek at #2, Kolb almost made the list and he would be next at 11, DeSean Jackson would make the top 15 WRs. I can see how it would appear with just top 10's I was down on the Eagles but nothing could be further from the truth as I am very high on their offense overall.

I see your point, however I am of the belief that Jackson is playing week 4, I have nothing to back that up except my gut and every year guys sound like they'll be holding out until week 10 and it's a very rare thing when it happens. You could be right though since when I did live down in Orange County and followed the Chargers I was under the impression that AJ Smith does what he says he'll do... anyway that is a part of the reason for Gates and also he seems to be dinged up these days. That may not be fair to assume injury or missing time but it did factor in to my thinking. If Gates ends up the #1 TE and it's not even close I won't blink an eye, he is that good.
