Honestly, I can get better value online. The books are sure to have Boston's season wins O/U at around 95-99.I'll take that under all day long.

Baltimore, thats already traded Tejada to the Astros for some scrubs and a pitching prospect, and is doing its best to rid itself of both Roberts and Bedard. Yeah, they're light years better than last year.

I could definitely see your point if we were talking about not making the playoffs. That's plausible. Last two champs didn't make it the following year and struggled with mediocre seasons. The Yankees will always be in the mix, especially if they do land Santana. That could swing the other way big time if the BoSox get him.

There's also a distinct possibility that the WC could come from the Central or West. Tigers look better, Indians remain a very good club and the Twins get Liriano back. If they keep Santana, they could still be a contender.

I enjoy the sub .500 shtick. Don't get me wrong. I REALLY enjoy it... but it would take injuries, clubhouse problems, other teams in the AL East improving besides the Yanks, etc. I guess it COULD happen, but probably not likely.
