NBA 2012-13 Back to the Future League (1 Viewer)

***ANNOUNCE***

After the tacos have settled, and I've heard all of the arguments that anyone cares to make, I've decided to go ahead and do the flip in the 5th round.

So, after Arizona Ron selects last in 4th round, Timschochet will start the 5th round. We'll go regular serpentine from there on out.

I think it's a relatively minor change at that point, but it does give something back to those that didn't get a top pick. I've updated the google doc and if you could double-check my work, I'd appreciate it.
Does that mean Tim picks 1st or last in the 6th?
lastalso, spreadsheet looks good TRE.

Oh boy. I have him last in the 6th. Essentially, I have it like we stuck a reverse round in the middle of our regularly scheduled program. Does that sound right to everyone?
My vote is if the top of the draft order has to pick last in the 5th, they should pick top of the 6th.

That's how it is.

I don't want told things up when I'm 95% sure anyway.

Dwight Howard C

Please PM for me, thanks
Howard was without question the right pick there. Sounds like his back is fine.I'm not liking 8th pick right now. I'd listen to offers for it.
You can only trade your whole draft at this point (larryboy!).Edit: I moved this from 5th to 4th round on the first post (5th was for baseball when you have 25 man rosters)

No trading of draft picks permitted until the 4th round has begun. Player-for-player trades are permitted at any time. Exchanging of draft slots may also be done before a drafter's first rounder is made.

Yeah, back and new team dynamic were the only things I wanted to think through. My guess is that playing with generally better players helps his efficiency this year if not his raw production. Shaq is doing his part to make sure Howard is sufficiently motivated.

If anybody wants to give up there spot in the next few so I can draft HIM, let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

SODShould have been number 2.

I very possibly would have taken him as high as 2 due to positional scarcity.

Yep. Surprised he lasted that long.

He may not score as many points but his rebounding and defensive stats could be legendary this year.

1.8 Dwyane Wade, SG

Sorry it took so long to make the pick. Spent a lot of time reading about his f'ed up knee.

I'm not exactly convinced of his health, but he's too good not to take the chance.

al jefferson
Am I missing something?
Usually close to 20/10, shoots around 50 percent, blocks a lot of shots, can play center, doesn't hurt you really bad anywhere.Wouldn't have been my pick but he's comparable to anyone else available.
Its not so much that he can play center, its that he can't play PF... even a little bit. After looking though, for some odd reason WIS has his PF effectiveness is 100%.

i will admit basketball shukes me and hoops wis is double shuke, but i went for a 20/10, that doesnt turn it over, blocks and assists a bit and shoots well. who knows?

1.13 Pau Gasol

No idea what they will look like this year, but I trust this guy more than the other logical options. Hopefully Howard doesn't swipe all the rebounds.
