NBA 2012-13 Back to the Future League (1 Viewer)

I like the Bogut pick. We're to the point in the draft (already) where the picks are likely going to be useful 2nd/3rd guys, specialists (defense, boards like Andy V), or high upside guys like Bogut. The guy is 7' tall and could conceivably be a 14/10 and 2bpg type guy. Good pick.
Agreed. He was my target with my next pick to help provide insurance to Zbo (defense) and The Brow without hopefully not having to rely on him too much.

Didn't forget anything - I got pulled into a meeting right after I made that post. But thanks for your concern. :boxing:

Keep it up and I'll use all 4 hours! ;)

3.23 Wes Matthews

I just couldn't pull the trigger on Javale McGee although I think that probably would be better for me with him at C and Horford at PF. Oh well. Faried is gonna be fun to watch

About time. I considered him all the way back when I took Duncan, just didn't think he would share space as well with Howard and his D rating will be more of a question mark. Big upside pick here though.

I'd be interested in trading for an upcoming pick. As it is, I'm 20 picks away and don't think they guy I'm targeting will be available.

Colin, if the guy is still there when I pick, let me know. Not sure what I'm looking for yet. Would be willing to talk

I will offer my next pick (4.22...94th overall) and my 5th round pick (5.22...118 overall) to whomever is picking for their OTC pick and their 6th round selection. This is contingent on the guy I want being avl when you are OTC. If he is selected before then, I will post to say "here was the guy."

I might be your huckleberry. Lets see who is there for my pick. I pick 4.13

Now that I'm home and have access to my computer...

Coyote, Faried was my plan for my 3rd round pick since I made my 2nd round pick. I ended up passing on him in the third because I thought Bogut was the more likely pick to be sniped around the turn. My Faried mancrush is pretty well documented so I'm kinda bummed about missing him by one ####### pick.

On the other hand, I have no idea why Ginobili slipped to the 4th round, hes probably the 5th or 6th best wing in all of basketball. Obviously, the worry is that hes going to get 25mpg or so, but for those 25 minutes he'll be as productive as Wade or Kobe. As of right now, Ginobili is probably my starting PG.

PG-Ginobili

SG-Iguodala

SF-Anthony

PF-Not Faried

C-Bogut

That's a good squad. In a 24 team league it Will look in hindsight that you did well grabbing iggy and Anthony. I like Ginobli but you will definitely have to watch his minutes/usage.

Ginobili's big issue is durability...Not just only 23 mins per game, but how many games can you realistically project him to play?
For his career, previous to last season, he averaged over 70 games a year. That definitely has something to do with why he fell this far but if he can get his 2200 minutes (as opposed to Kobe or Wade's 2800) he'll be about as productive as any player drafted in the last 30 picks. Over the last 5 years, the only players with a higher win shares per 48 are CP3 and Lebron and only seven players (Lebron, Paul, Wade, Howard, Duncan, Kobe, Dirk) have a higher PER. I would much rather have an elite player on somewhat limited minutes than a good player for extended minutes.

I got a plan come round five, but great pick. I really think big things are coming for Faried.
