I actually didnt know he had +50 until after I drafted him.    But did seem like a likely guy to get 15+ minutes, and that seems important.

Defense was my concern only because other than KAT, my early picks were pretty light in that department though my crappier later forwards bring more D to the table. Just don't know if Zach Randolph's 25 or so rating will mean bad or diaster.  Or not that much in the scheme of things.

btw, just how bad is bad D in this? seems there are pretty few 80+ guys out there.  Is 40 def bad, is 25 terrible? does it matter? 

I've pretty much ignored defense in this for 4 years and always won 50+ games and made the playoffs. One year I somehow allowed the fewest points in the league with a starting backcourt of Isaiah Thomas and James Harden.

D rating isn't totally useless, and it will affect the opponent's FG%, but it's not significant enough to cross a guy off the list just because he usually gets terrible ratings.
