wow, he was going off on selection sunday

alan boston ‏@bostonred88 Mar 16

Good start. Colorado is 2.5 power rating points away from being in the tourney, nevemind an 8 seed. Sad.

alan boston ‏@bostonred88 Mar 16

I dont have U mass in the tourney, they get a 6 seed. So Duke gets to play either Iowa or Tenn playing their 3rd game in 5 days Joke bracket

alan boston ‏@bostonred88 Mar 16

Dayton in in the tournament??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? R they ####### kdding. I am done!

alan boston ‏@bostonred88 Mar 16

Notice one seed Louisville gets to knock out both St Louis and Wich st. That is the only reason they are a 4. The ONE AND ONLY reason.

alan boston ‏@bostonred88 Mar 16

It happens every year. It is not a coincidence. The teams playing below the seed they should have, ALWAYS play a non power conference team.

alan boston ‏@bostonred88 Mar 16

and of course Wich faces 8th seeded EIGHTH SEEDED KY. Then they have St Louis or Louisville. What a shame. What a sin. ####### rigged. 100%
Listen to him on the Two Plus Two Pokercast. Always very entertaining.

Maybe it's the tv in my hotel but the crowds noises are bugging the crap out of me.

So it's just the norm for guys to show up and try to imitate human vuvazelas all game long with droning and moaning sounds all night?

Those noises are always pretty standard for first-round games where the arena is half-empty. Cheerleader bullhorns and stuff.

Makes sense...not sure why I'm picking up on it so much today...but it's grating my nerves.

I need a drink.

It seems pretty prevalent today, now that you've mentioned it.

Darn you.

Anyone know off hand what the latest in a game a #16 has been tied or had an outright lead? I seem to remember someone like Cuse only being up 4 or 5 with six minutes to go before pulling away, but I am not sure.

Albany/Connecticut in '06 was close with about 5 min left IIRC.

Sorry man...This Florida game is killing me

So I can see Harvard knocking off Cincy, I can see Dayton knocking off Ohio State - crazier things hav happened; but BOTH happening on Day 1? Warren's money is safe and will get even safer over today and tomorrow.

Camera is zoomed in on Albany player on ground in pain, accidentally kicked in the head by a Florida player running past him and not realizing the ball was on the ground as the Albany player dove for it.

Dan Bonner, "That's what Florida wants to do... not kick guys in the head, but turn up the pressure defensively."

Last year 16-seed Southern was tied with 1-seed Gonzaga with four minutes left. The best answer for your question is probably 16-seed Murray State in 1990, who took 1-seed Michigan State to OT and had the lead for a while in the extra session.

I was at the Princeton-Georgetown game in 1989 in Providence. That was tied in the final minute, Alonzo Mourning hit on FT to put Georgetown ahead, and Princeton missed two chances before the buzzer. Still believe Kit Mueller got fouled on the last one.

Did Florida simply look flat at the beginning of their game?

I'm worried about the next game vs. Pitt now. Even though Pitt will most likely disappoint as usual, the situation seems eerily similar to Gonzaga's early exit from last year.

People are bragging about their perfect bracket at about 5% of the way through this tournament. Safe to say there will never again be a perfect bracket.

You ain't the only one.
Looking like a Cinderella
Colorado stinks and likely shouldn't have been in the tournament. 1's vs 8-9's in second round is way skewed to 1's. Sharp money going to be on fla. Hope pitt does it but unlikely. All today does is get more public money on pitt and books want that.
