NCAA POOL - Brackets Announced Today! (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
I run a good sized pool - 0ver 1500 entries at $5/sheet last year paying out 20 places - enter as many times as you like. The website is now set up and ready to take registrants. There were several FBGs in last year.

Basically - most points at the end wins 1st and so on.... Points are awarded at 1pt first rd and doubling each round so championship game is worth 32pts.

Brackets are announced Sunday and March Madness starts next week so I wanted to get this out so people could get signed in and then just make their picks when brackets are announced.

Feel free to share this with others. It's grown exponentially the past few years and it's because people keep spreading the word. More info is on the website.

Thanks!

You are invited to join the PickHoops bracket group

college basketball tournament.

Awesome! Had been in a big one the past few years but it got cancelled this year.

Gonna send it to some family/friends as well

I would but the later rounds are too heavily weighted.

Should be 1,2,3,4,5,6 points instead.

To each their own. I've done it in the past how you suggest and changed it. Didn't care a whole lot for that scoring.

While there are obviously lots of ways to do it, doubling points each round is the most-used format.

Puts a good deal more weight on picking the champion and getting most, if not all, of your teams to the Final 4. No doubt about that.
