They are wusses when it comes to their money makers so why not punish the little guys/girls because they don’t have the ability to fight or lose the NCAA money.
Wouldn’t be surprising. What do they actually do? I mean that sincerely. Aside from dictating what players can’t do, what do they do? If the teams, schools and conferences set up all the games and schedules, the NCAA just has some oversight. Wouldn’t be that difficult for the FBS/FCS schools to set up standards on recruiting, eligibility and not care if some booster pays a kid. Heck, might be the only money they make if they don’t go pro.
