I have no idea how there wasn't a flag there. Seems like every other player on the field was able to stop play on the whistle...Seems like hitting another player after a whistle should be a penalty.
He was way off on that one. Don’t see that often from him.Yeah I'm done with Herbert. WTF was that?
He's overrated. Looked lost last game against Baltimore too. If Mike Williams can't get open or get deep, he sucks. He was way off on that one. Don’t see that often from him.
I think NE felt / thought the edge rusher was held. He was right near the goal line. But they called the hold on the interior defender, not the edge defender.FWIW in rule understanding, what I see in the casebook confirms my original thought on the challenge. It is the location of the hold that makes it a safety or not. Not the location of the ball. The case examples include a safety if the hold is in the end zone but the ball isn't.
Watching the offense play...or more specifically attempt a pass....gives me angina.Nice effort by the Pats...if they can play like this consistently they have an opportunity to be a wildcard team...next week on the road against the Panthers is a must win as is the Falcons, Jags and Dolphins...win those and that gets you to 8...gotta get two wins between the Browns, Colts, Titans and Bills x2...not easy but doable if they play like they did today.
The receiving core of the Pats is weak. They need a solid veteran (sorry, Nelson) out there. But overall I think the Pats are a team in development and I like what I'm seeing from Mac.Watching the offense play...or more specifically attempt a pass....gives me angina.
FWIW, PFF has a much different opinion. They have Judon only rated at 61.3 on the season. But they haven’t ever really scored him all that high. The receiving core of the Pats is weak. Judon putting together an all-pro season.
That's a counter-intuitive rating....is it because of some sort of deficiency covering in space? Cuz in terms of creating pressure and disrupting plays he is THE guy.FWIW, PFF has a much different opinion. They have Judon only rated at 61.3 on the season.
