Its nice to see NE getting outplayed, but I doubt theyre really trying.

Griese looks alot better than he did with the Bears. What an awful offense that was/is.

Antonio Bryant will be the #2 WR.
:goodposting: Looks like he's still got it.
I missed the 1st quarter. Does anyone have an explanation on how Graham and Dunn were used in the first couple of drives of the game. I see Dunn got 3 carries and 4 catches (huge for PPR). How did Dunn look and was Dunn in there on all 3rd downs? Does it look like a pure RBBC to you?Signed,Hopeful Dunn Owner

Is it me or are the announcers failing miserably in their attempt to be fair and balanced? I'll admit, I haven't heard the entire thing yet -- I have it recording on DVR -- but from what I've heard while doing the dishes (Yes, seriously.. unfortunately) but what I did hear was very pro-Buccaneers.This could be because the Patriots are playing like shiz, so I'm curious for your guys' take.
They were a little hard on Maroney...but it's been a pretty one-sided game. Definitely fans of Gruden though."Spy-gate" backlash?

TB is playing that much better then NE

These preseason games tend to be produced for the two teams involved, so you're probably picking up the broadcast done for the local Tampa market. NFLN picked up the Jets broadcast yesterday, which drove me nuts because they barely mentioned the 'Skins, but that seems to be what's happening. They're catering to their audience and have yet to adapt to the new paradigm of NFL Network, where the audience is actually national now.
Ah, okay. Those make sense then. Thank you!

Stats say Graham and Maroney both blow so far, but how do they actually look?
Graham hasn't gotten much work...but he did get the GL carry for the TD.The NE OL hasn't given Maroney anything...being dominated by the Tampa DL right now.

Antonio Bryant will be the #2 WR.

Dunn was in for almost the entire drive. Then they got to red zone, Graham got the hand-off on the one to punch it in.ETA: Dunn looked good too.

Nice pattern and catch by Stovall.

What WR make this team? Galloway, Bryant, Stovall, Jackson, Clayton...is that it?

Until the Pats OL gets healthy, don't expect the offense to touch last year's production.
WHOA out on a limb there!! :bag: ;)Stats say Graham and Maroney both blow so far, but how do they actually look?
In case you missed it, there are a bunch of people on these boards arguing whether on not the Pats can match last year's lofty totals. For those out of the loop, the Pats OL is pretty banged up and they are struggling to even roll out bodies at this point. What you see now is what they have to work with . . . it's not like they are saving a bunch of people because it's the preseason. If the season started today, Wesley Britt would be the starting LT and Billy Yates would be the RG.The following are all hurt:OL Stephen Neal (PUP)OT Ryan O’CallaghanC/G Russ HochsteinOT Matt LightOT Oliver Ross (PUP)I thought people might want to know that the Pats currently need some health.

Bennett looks pretty good...and honestly I think if he gets work, it will be at Dunn's expense moreso than Graham's.If the Bucs go up 17-0 in a real game...Graham will dominate the work the rest of the night.

Is it time to start talking about how the Pats aren't immune from the traditional Super Bowl hangover for the losing team? :bag:
;)Yeah, the Pats have some injuries, but that doesn't obviate the other players from, say, tackling, right? This looks like a really unmotivated, undisciplined team, and that's shocking to say about Belichick's Patriots.

While getting Favre would have been great for sales, attention, etc...I think these QBs are much more suited to have success in the offense. Glad Allen felt the same way.

15-17, 120 yards, 1 TD

I have no players on either team targeted. Brady/Moss/Welker will all go too early for my liking but I'd like to see something from either Stovall or Chad Jackson.

Thank God this is preseason because the Pats look atrocious. Outside of Welker and Gostkowski there is absolutely nothing positive happening.

This is pretty much what I have been saying the whole off season. Dunn was brought into play, and Gruden is going to get him the ball. I think TB run game has been under valued in general, so I wouldn't lower Graham, but instead boost Dunn/ Bennet. btw, I have been trying to acquire Dunn in just about every dynasty league I am in. He should be a great option for flex, or when the bye weeks come.

I think you forgot to switch aliases.
Busted.

Nah, just following up a comment that wasn't responded to, but I think should have been. This isn't a team that looks motivated to me at all.

Faulk is notoriously anti-Patriot, edging out Steve Young for top ranking. Sharpe is just calling em like he sees em.Cassell needs to go sell insurance; Pats should take their chances with Oconnell as QB3 (Guiterrez as QB2).

How much more rope are they giving Cassell? His #s for the night arent completely embarassing, and he was even the vicitim of some drops, but his presence and overall performance were enough to earn him a pink slip, imo. Im just sick of waiting for something, anything, in the way of poise and command from this guy. Im with ya. Insurance sales sounds about right.

was lamont jordan injured? or is BB just holding out another starter? :blackdot:
My guess is he saw what he wanted from Lamont last week. He pretty much made the team the day they signed him. Lamont's got some value this year, but we'll probably get to see him some next week.
