Need alternative for Imagus extension in Chrome (1 Viewer)

Have been using this for years, it reveals an image when you hover over a link, or enlarges a thumbnail when hovering over it. Apparently Chrome stopped supporting it yesterday. A quick Google search didn't really help with other options.

You sure it's dead? Evidently a lot of these were just turned off - Google making you think they were killed. Go back in and see if you can reactivate it.

I got a message yesterday that they were no longer supported and turned off and asked me if I wanted to remove them, so I did. How do I add it back in?

That's the kicker - once deleted you can't put them back in. They got you.

i did the same thing and now i am ticked off google can take a long walk off of a short pier on that trickery take that to the bank bromigos

Went to the Chrome web store. Looks like other alternatives are also no longer supported. Except one called "Hover zoom image". When I went to add it,
I was prompted with:

Add Hover zoom image?
It can:
Read and change all your data on websites.
Display notifications.

Well, that doesn't sound right.

Those are the same permissions for many extensions.
I'm guessing that the "read and change all your data on websites" is referring to information you have from that website on your computer, not on the website itself.
