Need Immediate Help regarding an APP following you round 24/7 (1 Viewer)

Tony Jabroni

Footballguy
Can anyone offer some assistance as to how to disable an app or program which is basically set to following you around all day and night? Recording all conversations at all time. I have limited knowledge on this. I have turned off my cell, took out the battery. Same with the laptop. It seems like a crazy high tech GPS something. Is this illegal? Someone is doing this to me currently. It is like a group of people in a room having a 'conversation with me and able to speak back". Filthy crap, sound bites etc.

PLEASE

ETA: This is the GF's ex-boyfriend.

put your computer in a room, turn it up load and stream some gay porn.  Put the phone right next to the speaker and come back in a few hours. My guess is he will have uninstalled the app by that time or figured out he wants to bang dudes.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they don't have a magical tracking app following your every move.
Don't.

This happened to me. It's scary.

Dude, you might have to wipe your phone and change your number.

eta* If you're sure this is happening and you're not just a little off, go to the police. Now. Before you feel invaded and terrified. If that doesn't work, contact the FBI. This is likely a federal wiretapping crime.

Oh, and chill out. If you panic, it's exactly the response he wants. #### him. Just remember to not let him access your camera. Put tape over it. Shut it down, basically.

Dude, people were tapping into David French's phone (writer for NR) and screaming at his wife during phone conversations with her father. This #### happens.

My friends have pissed off people at anime sites and had their Microsoft apps accessed. Messages popped up on their screen. This #### happens.

eta* Don't listen to these #######s. Chill out, relax, and do what eoMMan said. Get a new phone and a less crazy GF.

On your phone?

Id erase and reset from scratch, not restore from previous backup.

Did he have access to your phone physically? If not, sounds like he phished you and got you to click on some Malware - never click a link you're not familiar with or from an unknown source.

Theyll typically send something that looks identical, but from a shady address. I.E. applestore.mac@gmail.com

By the way, this is so illegal it's not even funny. This is a state and likely a federal crime. it's also a tort. Intrusion upon seclusion.

I think we have our first braincap event.
You're a magical idiot.

They can easily access his GPS. They can easily access his number.

Ask a federal prosecutor or a privacy expert.

You fool.  Stick to music.

Better yet, stick to heroin. Seems to have done you well.

Okay, I'm done with this thread.

Jabroni, good luck. Contact the police. Contact the FBI. Wipe your phone and change your number.

:lmao: did you actually quit drinking or do you just say you quit drinking so you can act insane and not have to hear go home youre drunk?

Just took a piss, they were calling play-by-play.

I'm not a computer dude--but this is pretty crazy stuff.  I do believe the OP though because I have some tech guys that fix/maintain our computers at work remotely.   If they were evil--they could activate our webcams, tap into our surveillance--so what the OP is going through is absolutely possible.   I would agree with the earlier poster that said something about the OP clicking on or possibly downloading some sort of Malware.  I would recommend taking your devices to phone/computer repair shop and having them completely clean and run a malware scan on your devices. I'd also recommend changing any and every password that you have for your phones, computers, websites, emails...etc.   Once your devices are clean--absolutely make sure not to click on or download anything unless you are 100% certain of its origin.

So shut it down, go to the cops, and wipe your phone and change your number. It's the only thing to do. Don't act crazy, though, because only privacy experts understand this stuff. The only people that believed me when it happened to me in 2012 were my law professor that taught Privacy law and a federal prosecutor they referred me to. This is now commonplace.

Good luck.

eta* Oh, the FBI did, too. They get complaints like this often. Peace out and good luck.

Okay, now I'm concerned. You should be taking care of this and not be worried that he's in your phone. If you know he is, he is. If he did a play-by-play on your piss, you know. Don't take your phone, dude.

Take care of this before you have an episode. This #### is invasive.

If you're phishing, this is pretty lousy. Just take care of it.

If the guy is this into ####### with you, he's a half step from killing you in your sleep. Watch your back.

If a guy is doing a play by play of you taking a piss....you already know what's up.
Sort of, then what's he got? How do I defend this NOW? I really should go to the authorities with this then, correct? What if he is reading this right now?

I am not being paranoid. I want to take the proper course of action, and thought you guys would know what is up. And you did.

All electronics are being left at home.

True. He does live in Oklahoma but is in town for NY.

Plus, he's 6'3 200lb meathead, and I am a matuski. (5'6--140)

More victims are coming forward. In a painful, vulnerable post, commentator Mickey White writes about how the alt-right came after her and her family, triggering a mental-health crisis. In the face of the abuse, she sought help, but help was slow to come: "I reached out to people I thought I could trust and to this day I’m not sure if that was the right thing to do. At the time I was desperate though, as the trolling had increased from mere tweets, to DMs from very random famous accounts. Then e-mails went out to people suggesting that I might harm myself, even though I’d indicated nothing of the sort. Anyone who responded to me would also be shamed or harassed. I was advised that I was about to be swatted. I contacted my local sheriff and eventually the FBI. As all of this was happening, the people behind these accounts made an ominous threat towards a family member. My sister. The single most important person to me in the world. The fuse was lit."Read more at: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/441319/donald-trump-alt-right-internet-abuse-never-trump-movement

David French about his own family and experience:

We contacted law enforcement, she got her handgun-carry permit, and life returned to the new normal of daily Twitter harassment, until the day this month when an angry voice actually broke into a phone conversation between my wife and her elderly father, screaming about Trump and spewing profanities. My wife was on her iPhone. Her father was on a landline. That launched a brief, anxious search inside my father-in-law’s home for a potential intruder and yet another call to law enforcement.Read more at: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/441319/donald-trump-alt-right-internet-abuse-never-trump-movement

Because this #### is funny, right?  Swatting is hilarious. So aren't voices in your phone screaming at you.

It's a crime. It's both a criminal and civil offense.

If this is phishing, like I said, this is lousy.

If it's real, go to the authorities.
