Need some deeeeeep IDP sleepers (1 Viewer)

In a 32 team league with a 40 man roster and we are in round 30. Of course, all the "names" and potential back-ups are pretty much off the board. Would love to see a list of potential deep sleepers at LB and DE.

Anyone?

These threads pop up from time to time, and they rarely go anywhere. What will happen is people will throw out a list, and the OP will mention they are taken already.

You can either give a list of the top guys left, or do a search for sleeper, which will give you some names.

In a league that size, I think I might try and get some young guys behind aging starters, or try and corner the market on a position that is up in the air, like NYG MLB.

Yep, I agree. As far as NYG LB's are concerned, there are 2 FA LB's for the NYG's left on the board. Brian Kehl and Zak DeOssie. At least the rookie round is 8 rounds as well and I got the unfortunate 1.28 pick (non-snake) so its not like I'm gonna get a blue chip in the rook round either. Just thought I'd throw this out there. Every once in in awhile, somebody will throw a name out that I have over-looked.

Aren't you the guy who was thumping his chest about how this was "his time of the draft, and how this separates the men from teh boys" in round 22? :goodposting:

 Well I was hoping Jene would chime in with a nugget that I might have overlooked. :) Yep that's my story and I'm sticking with it.Aren't you the guy who was thumping his chest about how this was "his time of the draft, and how this separates the men from teh boys" in round 22?

This is a really good point from massraider. Playing in really deep league last year, 80 man rosters (start 40) with taxi squad of 30, when I was reaching the bottom on the barrel, I scoured over the depth charts had tried to find anyone who was backing up a player/position that produced good fantasy points. Backup MLB's for example readily come to mind. Since in this league we needed so many starters, anyone who might produce points was of value. I recall getting 3 who panned out really well by seasons end, David Hawthorne, Jasper Brinkley, Hunter Hillenmeyer. Unless you want to post a list of all of the free agent IDP's left, I would suggest working the above angle.
