New England Defense. . .Anything to see here? (1 Viewer)

They looked good against the Jets, but I'm not huge on Jets, plus they know them so well. It's time to start tweaking roster for playoff run, and that is a good looking schedule. Miami's current revival aside. What do the Sharks think and does anyone see another playoff schedule that looks better?

Titans have NO week 14 but Indy and Jags in 15 and 16. If CJ2K can spit up the wad of cash he's been choking on, it could help control the games as well.

The Bills laid an egg against Dallas this week, but close with SD, Miami and Den.

Just some thoughts.

Best Week 14-16 schedules for defenses based on current results (based on fantasy leagues scoring points allowed and yardage allowed plus regular DEF/ST fantasy categories).

Hi David,Would you mind explaining what those columns are? Thanks.HM.

Each column represents the ranking for Week 14, Week 15, Week 16, and total of the 3 weeks for each team in the right column. So BAL faces

IND 3rd most points allowed to fantasy DEF/ST

SD 8th most points allowed to fantasy DEF/ST

CLE 9th most points allowed to fantasy DEF/ST

Total of the rankings for those 3 weeks = 20

Meaning that the Ravens have the best schedule (based on current results) for the BAL DEF/ST.

Thanks. is there a tool here on FBG that allows us to plug in our scoring to get the same data?

Baltimore looks great but is probably owned in 99% of leagues. I've used the strength of schedule tool as well. My problem with it is it doesn't take into account the fluidity of football. Like I mentioned in the original post, Miami has had a nice couple weeks, but statistically will still show bad for the season. It's the human element that has to evaluate that part which is why I posted the thread.

New England looked really good Sunday and have great schedule, but are they for real, or do they go back to being the pass sieve they were before?

Tim mentioned Cincy if you get by week 14, with Schaub out does week 14 look that bad, or does week 16 look worse now with Kolb hurt in AZ?

Stats are great, but break it down a little please. If everything went as statistically predicted, FF wouldn't be much fun!

I'm trying to add Pats in this week. Will hold Cincy for week end of year schedule, but Leon Hall's injury is huge

I picked up Cleveland last week for the tasty STL/JAC daily double

Do you think they have turned the corner and are improving, or are you doing it because the matchups are so good they can't help but score decent?

Great question, wondering this myself. I think NE D has been up and down, and mostly down this year. The cake schedule is perfect for Brady; not sure if it makes that much a difference to this D. They can be a capable unit up front but have been getting torched all year in the secondary. Not sure much has changed on that front despite a good performance against the Jets.
