New England, Indy, Pittsburgh, San Diego... (1 Viewer)

Jacksonville and Tennesee are both winning with excellent defense and not much offense to speak of. But for my money, the most intriguing team after the top 4 in the AFC is the Cleveland Browns. They are fun to watch, and putting up lots of points. The Browns might not get a wildcard if the Jaguars and Titans keep winning, but I'd love to see it happen. They are so much more entertaining than those two teams are...

8-8 would be an excellent year for Cleveland, considering everything, but they have a shot, especially with their schedule.

Regardless, they're FINALLY starting to take some steps forward. The only question is if Anderson finishes out this season pretty much the same way he's started it, do you let him walk, and potentially take a step backwards with Brady Quinn as the starter next season.

It's going to be very similar to Brees/Rivers.

The best thing about yesterday was they were down 14-0 early on and didn't fold like week 1 against Pittsburgh. Now, Pitt and StL are two totally different teams, and SJax went down again, but I still like to see that in a team especially on the road.

:bye: The next few games should show us something. But with this schedule, how do you not like the Browns to finish 9-7 or better?SEA @ Home@ PIT@ BALTHOU @ Home@ ARI@NYJBUF @ Home@ CINSF @ HomeOut of the remaining nine games, I could see the Browns winning at least 5 of those. I also think the PIT game in two weeks will be closer than the first matchup this season. This team is definitely a fun team to watch. :bag:

I'm a huge Browns fan and Cleveland native and yes, they have been fun to watch this year. But I am not getting too excited just yet.

However, we have to remember they have beaten a couple 0-8 teams and a Cincy and Ravens team who are down this year....Cincy more so.

Seattle will be a big test at home this week.

Thanks for starting another thread. I was wondering what sort of anti-patriots sentiments you had rattling around that brain of yours this morning. I look forward to the afternoon thread where you post something about the Pats running up the score (despite there already being 3 threads on the frist page about it). Maybe tomorrow we can rehash some of the cheating stuff with a "Are the pats still cheating" thread? :goodposting:

Go celebrate or something.

Haven't we learned yet this year there's INDY and NE and that's it.

Doesn't matter who's 3, 4, or 5.

There should be just a little focus on who may be the best team in the NFC with a huge **** which means not the 2nd best team since they're in the SB.

Let's do this if we can. Let's watch next week's Indy/NE game and give that team home field advantage. Then, let's fast forward to the AFC Championship game and give that team a SB ring.

Because that's all that's going to happen and you'll save a whole lot of time and energy in debating who's the 3rd thru 10th teams.

I'm done posting about the Patriots. You know my thoughts. The truth is, I am a bit disgusted with the taalk now that someone should take a late hit on Tom Brady. That is offensive to me, and I don't want to be associated with it. So I'll leave the rant to others.

They really could win 9 with this schedule, I was just discussing that in the Crennel thread. However, watch out in '08 when inflated expectations and overvalued talent based on a 9-7 record with a cushy schedule start making the Browns a trendy playoff pick. When you replace St. Louis, Seattle, San Francisco, Arizona, Jets, Texans, and Raiders with Giants, Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington, Buffalo, Jacksonville, and Denver, it's a whole different ball game.
