**New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles** (-16, 42) 4:25 Kickoff- NFC East on the line for Philly (1 Viewer)

Philly gets Hurts back, still trying to clinch number one seed. G-Men resting starters with playoff seed set. Wait, let me say that again. The Giants PLAYOFF seed is set. Who finishes second to Brian Daboll for "Coach of the Year"? Philly needs to get their mojo back or face an early playoff exit. I think they get a week to think about it...

Eagles- 30
Big Blue- 13

The best team all season long is somehow in a MUST-WIN scenario in week 18 against a divisional opponent. This is not how I saw the season shaking out 3 or 4 weeks ago. That being said, I think Hurts and company get up early against the gints and its the Minshew show in the second half. My only hope is that we exit this game w/out injury. Don't care about the score. Just get the #1 seed and a week off.

It would also be nice to right the perception-ship with Minshew, which could be done if he is handed a lead today and closes out the game w/out monkey-****ing the football like last week. Eagles need a backup that more closely resembles Hurts' playing style (think Tyrod Taylor) and it would be nice to get something/anything of value for Gardner.

Nice to see Davis Webb getting his first career start. I've read that Buffalo had asked him to consider retiring and becoming their QB coach but he decided to sign with the Giants.

In his career, he's run two plays, both kneel downs. Nice move by Daboll, imo.

Giants inactives.

S Julian Love
CB Adoree’ Jackson
RB Saquon Barkley
OLB Azeez Ojulari
OT Andrew Thomas
DL Dexter Lawrence
DL Leonard Williams

I'm in year 25 of Cowboy-fan apathy, but I'm hating hard against the Eagles - and I LOVE Philadelphia (the city)
i've developed a sense of understanding of that fan base over the last 25-30 years and I understand what you mean.
They get thrown under the bus a lot but then you have these moments
Where they find a QB nobody wants
And a WR the team that drafted didn't believe in, and the story keeps going

Why don’t the Giants just keep it vanilla? They’re already playing scrubs to begin with. Why show other teams anything?

man, i don't think there is a way it can happen, but i would love to get the Cowboys in the playoffs. seems like easiest road if the Cowboys can get some luck to make it past one game

I think they have a pretty good shot against Tampa.

Davis Webb is a lot more fluid in his motions than he was his 1st stint as a Giant. He might be a backup in this league.

I know Jalen isn't running today so I'm trying not to get concerned but offense definitely looks rusty. I'm glad Hurts played today. Get back into the flow.
