great stiffarm and then great blitz pickup on the next play by Martin....even more reasons why he will be a first ballot hall of famer

Keep an eye on Rothlisberger's left foot at the snap. If it stays pointing straight toward the line, it's a running play. If it moves or angles, it's a pass.Or so it seems...

Hey admins, because Chase Stuart will be paralyzed from the neck up after this game, I hear Psychology Kev is willing to do a lot of write-ups for you guys.

Sat 1/15 301 New York Jets pk +1190 1:35 pm 302 Pittsburgh Steelers pk -1650Think the linesmakers like the odds of him hitting it?

I an so freakin upset at the JETS coaches.DID THEY LEARN NOTHING FROM THE SD GAME.Move the ball. Don't rely on a 40+yard!!!This sucks.Typical freakin JETS.

Steelers had that game given to them. :X Good thing the Tsunami victims are getting Roeth's paycheck too, because he certainly didn't earn it.

Well deserved miss. Back in to the wildcard, get lucky in SD, get absolutely pummeled in Pittsburgh and still win? Not if there are football gods they won't.
pummeled?absolutely pummeled?

what ####ing game are you watching?
I'm watching the team wearing the green shirts barely put up 275 yards of offense and 3 points? Thats the game I'm watching.I'm watching the team wearing the green shirts get drilled into the ground on defense while the Steeler offensive line mauls them, and the only thing not making them the goat is two boneheaded plays by a rookie QB and a miracle punt return. Thats the ###### game......oops......the game I just watched.

:stillers:

Everyone watch the Steelers fans for the next couple of days. They will be JUST LIKE the Patriots fans after 2001 and 2002.

Steelers move on, but with a pretty bad performance. They really had no business winning that game

sure they did.. Jets O did not score a TD.. Football gods made sure the best team won today.. :stillers: :stillers:

Gotta Figure that the Patriots or the Colts will be favored next week -- maybe by as much as 6 or 7.
Somehow I don't think the #1 seed will be a 6 pt dog at home
Depends on how convincingly the winner of tommorrow's game is. If it's a blowout, I could see being -3 favorites... -6 or -7 I dunno. Jets have just been underrated continually all year and they played their hearts out in the playoffs. Imagine if they win and move on to next week. Not only are they a wild card team, but have played 3 extra quarters due to overtime.

Not a Steelers fan by any stretch, I just think they make for a much better game than the Jets. There are a dozen high shools I'd rather watch than that boring nonsense.Using the term 'pummel' simply refers to the fact that while Pittsburgh didn't make the greatest showing, the Jets did absolutely nothing out there. 2 lousy passes and a fumble made this game close. It could very well have been 30-3 without a few Steeler mistakes. The 3 points the Jets scored on offense, however, was truly about all that bunch could muster.

Pitt will be favored no matter who they play. If it's Indy - Pitt -3If it's NE - Pitt -4

I happen to think the Indy/Steelers or Pats/Indy would be outstanding games.

I bet there has NEVER been a team in playoff history that had 3 INT's and lost.I also bet there has never been a team in playoff history that had both an INT and Punt return for a TD, and lost.Very upset JETS fan. This is the story of our existence.

After watching today's game it looks clear to me that the winner of the Indy-NE game is going to the Super Bowl. The Steelers don't have enough weapons/ammo to keep up with the Colts and, if it's the Pats, Bill Bellichek is really going to mess with Big Ben.This is my personal opinion and I could be wrong, but the Steelers did not impress me at all today.

does this mean you admit the Pats were lucky back then?
Significant difference winning on physical play, special teams runbacks, blocks, and legitimate rules to winning because of 3 missed fieldgoals.
