Injury report:

Out: PK/WR Willie Reid

Doubtful: LB James Harrison

Questionable: CB Deshea Townsend, S Troy Polamalu, LB Clint Kreiwalt, C Jeff Hartings

A few guys listed as probable.

Cowher said Troy is day-to-day with the concussion and he will be tested throughout the week, simlar to Ben earlier this year. Cowher was asked if Troy's history of concussions at USC were a concern and said he was not sure and that the medical staff will make the determination as to whether or not Troy plays this week.

Apparently Polamalu got the concussion on a tackle to Reggie Bush on the 2nd series of the game. Troy stayed in the game for the next few plays until the coaching staff saw him lining up against the wrong guy and realized he was a bit confused.

As for Townsend, apparently the concussion was not severe because he is listed on the injury report with only the ankle injury . Whether or not he is healthy enough to play this week remains to be seen but Townsend usually plays through his injuries.

Cowher said that Willie Reid is getting better but progress has been slower than expected. James Harrison will do some more work but as of right now it does not look like he will play. Kriewalt and Hartings are both day-to-day.

According to local sports radio & TV, S Troy Polamalu practiced today. He is currently listed as Questionable for this week's game against the Browns.

LB Clint Kreiwalt and C Jeff Hartings, also listed as Questionable returned to practice today as well.

CB Deshea Townsend and LB James Harrison did not practice today.

Just heard a report on local sports radio that LB James Harrison practiced today and looks like he could be ready to play this week. Harrison injured his ankle in Week 4 against San Diego and has not been able to practice since then.

Harrison has been listed on the injury report as Doubtful so this news comes as a surprise. Whether or not he'll be upgraded depends on how the ankle responds tomorrow. If Harrison is a go then this would great news for the Steelers as he is the #1 backup at LB and also plays on Special Teams.

It looks like S Troy Polamalu will play this week against the Browns. Polamalu practiced for the second day in a row and has been cleared to play by the Steelers medical staff. Polamalu is still listed as questionable on the injury list and Cowher said that he will continued to be tested this week and may be a game time decision. My take is that barring any setbacks Polamalu is going to play.

C Jeff Hartings also practiced for the second day in a row and expects to play this week. FB Dan Kreider did not practice today due to his hip but said he will practice tomorrow. CB Deshea Townsend (ankle) also did not practice today.

Good to see Hartings back earlier than expected an Harrison finally back.

Now they really Willie Reid back...I didnt realize his injury was that bad and he'd be out for so long. With Deshea possibly out, that might mean Holmes will be back again
