CB Baxter Tears Patellar Tendon In Both Knees

Cleveland Browns CB Gary Baxter tore patellar tendons in both knees while trying to break up a pass during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos. Baxter will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair both knees, HC Romeo Crennel said during his Monday press conference. Crennel estimated that Baxter would be sidelined for at least one year. Baxter told the team he intends to return from the injuries. "He wants to come back," Crennel said.
