The NFC East has three solid young receiving tandems. Each tandem has their respective strengths. Which tandem would you prefer to build a team around if you were an NFL GM? Why?
Really tough choice here. All very good choices, I would go with the Giants simply because both have proven they can be successful number 1's...Dez surely looks the part and has been stepping up but he hasnt really proven anything yet.
Also another thing to think about the Giants one may be Nicks/Manningham next year, as Smith is a FA...and who knows what will happen with that, especially if Manningham continues to show well.
Biased boys fan here but Bryant might be the best WR in the division, and before long, the NFL.Both Bryant and Austin have very good hands, power, and the speed to take it to the house.Jackson is awesome and all, but he's small.Nicks and Smith are very good, but they cause so many int's; dropped passes.
Went with Jackson/Maclin, but couldn't fault anyone who went with Austin/Bryant.
Austin is a physical guy who can look dominant at times, but drops too many balls.
Jackson is a dynamo...a freakish speedster, and Maclin is a complete reciever that everyone forgets is just a sophomore...he's nowhere close to his peak and is a legit #1 candidate in his own right.
Dez is the wildcard who may be the best of all six in this poll, but it's a bit early to know that for sure. We know what we have in Jackson/Maclin.
I think the overwhelming majority of GM's would be ecstatic with either combo, and OK with the third option (Nicks/Smith).
